Refresh with some tropical fruit at the local market in Candi Kuning, before heading to the mountain resort of Bedugul and Lake Beratan. Here you’ll discover the iconic Hindu Shaivite temple of Ulun Danu. Sat on a small promontory of the lake, the temple is home to the Goddess of Waters named Danu.

Continue your journey north and stroll through the jungle canopies to reach Gitgit Waterfalls. On the way back, you’ll get to see the emblematic Jatiluwih rice terraces, which boast UNESCO world heritage status.
