Great day trip from Catania - Tour guide was very informative. Both sites were great, nice little tasting lunch in small town on the way

Great full day tour - Our tour of Syracuse and Noto was an absolutely wonderful and relaxing experience. Andrea, our fabulous guide, drove us to these historic sites and shared a wealth of information about the history and curiosities of the archaeological locations. This tour is the perfect way to cover a lot of ground in a single day. Running from approximately 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., it is well worth the time. As a family, we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. This tour is a must-do for anyone visiting Sicily. Highly recommended!

Don't miss it. - You can't miss the tour. Best Nando, our Guide. The best excursion we have done in the 15 days we have been in Sicily. Interesting, entertaining and I count no more to not spoil the visit

Our guide and driver,... - Our guide and driver, Nando, was amazing in the depth of knowledge he shared about the history and culture of Siracusa and Noto. I would give him 10 stars if possible.

Great overview of all... - Great overview of all three areas. Our guide, Lory, was great! She provided a good summary of each place, then gave specific recommendations on the important places we should visit. I like the format of having a guide in the beginning of each location tour, then having free time to explore on our own.

Absolutely worthwhile, excellent guide! - A terrific day! Our guide Andrea was wonderfully articulate and knowledgeable about history, archaeology, art and architecture. He brought these outstanding historical sites to life with warmth and charm, and had really thoughtful, engaging answers to our questions about Sicily, past and present. I loved when he pointed out the storks’ nests. 100% recommended!

History, Architecture, and Art in Southeast Sicily - It was a good tour with lots of time on our own to explore. Our guide, Lory, was very knowledgeable and while she did translate between Italian and English well, I wouldn't recommend bilingual tours to others as there is a lot of talking required. Lory must have been exhausted as I was just listening to so much information, most of it in a language I didn't understand. Not her fault at all, just the nature of doubling up on two languages.

Fascinating and informative- a must! - Fascinating, informative and varied: from viewing ancient remains to the baroque architecture, to buying traditional Sicilian food in the market and enjoying a boat trip. A long hot day but our guide Lori was wonderful ( in 3 languages!). The only downside was the poor condition of the vehicle - poor suspension and noisy in the back so we couldn't always hear. But the trip is definitely worth taking!

So so tour - Syracuse is a bland nothing. Barely visible rocks sticking up. Better ruins in Rome or Jordan. But the other 2 cities are stunning. The only problem is you get there when most shops are closed for siesta so you can’t shop and there’s too much time left over for seeing the churches and for lunch that it gets boring.

I regret in not writing... - I regret in not writing down the name of our driver/tour guide (June 12, 2014). She was knowledgeable and pleasant and given some prior research of our own appeared to hit the more interesting spots to visit. The drive was a tad long but the trip was comfortable in the vehicle supplied. We were only a group of 6 so that was great.
