Awesome Cruise Experience - We booked the 8:30pm VIVID cruise on a Monday night, the boat was not packed at all, we actually had the whole front deck to ourselves on the return trip. The boat was exactly as described, even more pleasant than expected even. Smooth sailing, went up close to all the lights - VIVID itself was a bit mellow this year) but we got a great close up view of everything in Cricular Quay then cruise close past the Opera House and around to the Botanical Gardens and past Mrs Macquarie Chair. Took a wide turn out in the harbour and came through under the centre of the bridge. We had a brilliant time and I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone interested. Great for all ages, I even noticed a kids play area inside the lower deck cabin.

Great way to see the lights - We decided at the last minute to take the 6:00pm cruise and we’re so glad we did. The staff at the ticket booth were very helpful and pointed out where the boat would be. Be aware that they stop at Circular Quay to pick up more passengers so try and board at Darling Harbour to get a better seat. The boat was not overcrowded.

Crowded but Good VIVID cruise - We were a party of 4 and took the VIVID cruise at 6pm last Wednesday. It was a bit confusing on where to line up to board but after that, there was clear communication. We were fortunate to get on at Darling Harbour, the boat then goes to Circular Quay and picks up more passengers. Unfortunately, for those guys, the best seats/standing spaces were already taken. The boat was crowded but it was still easy to see everything from the top deck. The VIVID lights are spectacular.

Sydney Harbour VIVID Lights 1 Hr Cruise - Very disappointed in the Vivid Lights display, it would appear that many of the lights were not turned on. Only lights of any significance were the ones on the eastern side of the harbour bridge. Did not appear to be anything different with Luna Park other than the normal lights. Opera House appeared to show on one side only also. Could not see any lights in and around Circular Quay. There were nine in our group cruising on last night of Vivid - hoping this was not the reason for lack of displays.

Disapointed with the orgainisation on embarking / little or no Vivid LIGHTS - Compliments to NRMA for making the cost effective, but rotten tomates to Fatasea Cruising, reading the print out on booking with all the sepecific details RE: credit card, ID and print out tickets, [none of this was required] first the lack of signage on the piers, pier 26 is 350 mt long, with a number of cruise companies, once located the so called start line, we had a wait time of 20 minutes before we were ushered on board, which again was not the location of our start line, the only check was a hurried look at a paper we had in our hands [ours was a print out of the tickets] one person had a A4 size with muliple tickets, the other with me just walked pas the so called guide if we could call him that. we had to walk to another location for boarding, rush, rush because the cruise [6:pm was late coming in; then all hell broke loose, people scrambling to get positions on all decks, kid, elderly and many many forieners, no respect to anyone, lack of supervision. The trip was cut short to accommodate the next cruise, and the lack of Vivid light show was, well let us say there have been better, the lack of a light show was disapointing. To experience this ONCE is all it needs. Sorry Sydney, we have the best harbour in the world, a great shore line, let see if we can't light up the waters.......

Disappointing - The staff were polite and the boat was as described.Could have been more staff and more signage to advise of which line we should have been standing in while waiting for our booked time slot. Disappointed that there really were no VIVID lights to look at on the trip from Darling Harbour to the Circular Quay harbour area and even when we reached the main area you don't get a clear view as the boat only skirts the the outer area. Good photos were impossible to take as there was another boat directly in front of us all the time which blocked taking any decent photos even those of the Harbour Bridge. Many people on the top deck were saying how disappointing the whole trip was. Also could not hear any commentary at all on the top deck. You will honestly see more just standing around the Quay. Not good value at all sadly.

Total ripoff it’s a ferry not a cruise - This was simply a very crowded ferry between Darling Harbour and Barangaroo with at least 15 minutes wasted while passengers got on and off. There was very limited seating on the outer decks and no commentary whatsoever. The harbour ferries give a better view. Save your time and money.

Too crowded - Did the 6pm cruise. The boat was packed to the gunnels! Hardly room to breathe. Wouldn't recommend. Take a ferry ride you'll see as much
