An exciting night tour of Sydney City and history !! - We went out in the Big Bus light tour during the Vivid festival. It was a fantastic experience ! The live commentary was very interesting. Our guide, Sarah, told us all about governor Macquarie and his wife when we were going down Macquarie Street and Mrs Macquarie’s Point. She knew so much about the history of Sydney, it was great having live commentary. Also there were amazing photo opportunities of the sparkling harbour at night. We would highly recommend this tour - it’s exciting and interesting and great value for money !!

Night Tour was Wonderful! Anne, the live guide, was very informative! - We went with our family on the night tour and it was wonderful! Instead of the usual recording, the tour had a live guide, Anne, who described the sights the entire time. Anne is informative and entertaining. I hung on every word she said. She spoke for the entire ride. We made two stops with wonderful views of the bridge and opera house. Anne and the bus driver, Justin, allowed plenty of time for pictures. Anne also took the time to take pictures of all groups. We enjoyed sitting on the top deck and going under the bridge. We weren’t planning to do the night tour but was so happy we did! Anne and Justin were great! I wish they had a similar night tour in all the cities we visited!

Live Personal Experience - We did both tours and the night time was best! The live commentary from Anne was amazing! The Personal touch made the tour so much better than the recorded day time tour.

Vivid Sydney Big Bus night tour 1.5hr - Perfect night with family (I took my 2 kids and my Dad) with amazing vivid lights view. We went on 7th June 0631 pm tour, our guide commentator was fun, informative and perfect host. He made sure everyone is engaged and entertained. Thank you to our driver and guide commentator (Sorry I didn't catch his name). The last time I got on Big bus was in New York and that was a great memory. Would recemmend this 100%.

vivid night tour June 2025 - it was a cold night , but got a blanket supplied . the tour guide so full of history of sydney - the visibility was fabulous - could hear via the ear plugs easily

Panoramic photo opportunistic, informative Tour, captures a lot in 90 minutes! - Hello campers....we went on a 'Vivid Experience' night however; we have also been on boeard at a time 'Vivid' was not on.......bothwere remarkably good! and all thanks to Sarah our hostess ( the captain/driver was also very accomodating too). (Sarah btw; looks like a younger Queen Camilla). The tour took us to various parts all around the city including a couple of stop off /photo opportunities. The cost was very good value for money and just added/ topped off to our 'stop' in Sydney, having arrived here in Aus in WA some 4 weeks ago. Would I recommend it? Yes I would; a value for money entertaining tour with a lovely hostess. who helped, taking photos, answering questions etc etc..... you could do a lot worse.

An interesting and colourful tour - We enjoyed an interesting night trip and learned some new things about our home city from the commentary. It was billed as a 'Vivid' night tour, and while the views from North Sydney were excellent, you will generally enjoy the 'Vivid' lights more if you walk the installations.

Horrible - I downloaded the app and it said to go to a different address due to the traffic. I went there because it also said I must pick up the physical ticket. I went to Big Bus Sydney Tours Booth 3 East Wharf as it stated. Nobody was there to help me. The window was fully closed and locked up. I contacted the company and nobody would answer to help I was also given multiple wrong confirmation number to put in the app that I had to download to ride this bus. I spent way too much of my time on something that could have been so simple. I just wanted to ride and bus and look at the lights. Way too much to read and do and NO HELP.
