- Pirrama Park - Located right on the harbour, Pirrama Park offers stunning water views, including sights of the Harbour Bridge and North Sydney.
The park features a children’s playground with water play areas, barbecues, shaded spots, grassy areas, a boardwalk, and restroom facilities, making it an ideal location for families or friends to unwind and enjoy a picnic.
In the mornings and evenings, the boardwalk is bustling with walkers, joggers, and groups engaging in boot camp and yoga sessions.
Pirrama Park’s award-winning design incorporates sustainable elements such as native plantings, solar panels, and recycled materials. Sandstone artifacts in the interactive playground reflect the area’s quarry history, and the promenade traces the original shoreline.

Jones Bay Wharf - This location offers numerous delightful dining options with breathtaking views.
Jones Bay Wharf, completed in 1919, has been transformed into modern business spaces in the 21st century.
In the early 20th century, it served both freight and passenger liners and was a crucial embarkation point for troops during World War II, as well as a major arrival point for immigrants post-war.
The wharf also hosts the Jones Bay Marina, a facility for super yachts visiting Sydney. - Pyrmont Bridge - Situated in Darling Harbour, Pyrmont Bridge is one of the world’s oldest electrically operated swing bridges. The current swing bridge, which opened in 1902, replaced the original Pyrmont Bridge that began operating in 1857. The swingspan allows passage for vessels too tall to pass beneath the bridge.
- Darling Harbour - Darling Harbour is a lively waterfront area just moments from central Sydney, yet it maintains a cozy, intimate atmosphere. This family-friendly destination offers plenty to keep children entertained all day, from intriguing museums to exciting wildlife and delectable dining options.
- Cockle Bay Wharf - This vibrant precinct is a hub for dining and entertainment.
At Cockle Bay Wharf, visitors can explore 13 exciting venues, including 11 cafes, bars, and restaurants. With a variety of cuisines, from fresh seafood to authentic Italian and modern Australian, each restaurant provides a unique dining experience, all with stunning views of Cockle Bay Wharf.
Spend the day at the precinct and discover many famous Sydney attractions such as the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium, Wildlife Sydney, and Madame Tussauds.
The precinct is a hive of activity, brought to life with regular cultural events for the whole family.
- Sydney Theatre Company - Riders can choose to stop at Zupano Espresso Bar for a drink, snack, or lunch. It’s up to them. The route then passes the Arts District at Wharf 3.
- Barangaroo Reserve - Barangaroo Reserve is Sydney’s newest harbour foreshore park. Once one of the city’s oldest industrial sites and a former concrete container terminal, it has been transformed into a stunning six-hectare headland open space for both Sydneysiders and visitors to enjoy. The reserve is car-free and perfect for cycling. Ride up to Stargazer Lawn for the best views across the gardens and into the harbour, or follow the Wulugul Walk, which connects Walsh Bay and Darling Harbour and runs through the reserve.
Over 75,000 native trees and shrubs have been planted, replicating the vegetation that existed on this site before European colonization. Native bee colonies have also been introduced to aid in pollinating the native plant species.
Visitors can even swim in the harbour at the new swimming area that opened in Marrinawi Cove in early 2023. This sheltered spot is lined with sandstone steps and enclosed with safety netting.
-
Sydney Harbour Bridge - The view of the bridge, the harbour, and the nearby Sydney Opera House is considered an iconic image of Sydney and Australia. Nicknamed “The Coathanger” due to its arch-based design.
Cyclists can use the cycleway on the Western side. It’s a fantastic way to see the harbour, and many locals are unaware of its existence. A side trip to the middle of the bridge is also possible! -
Circular Quay - Sydney Cove, where Circular Quay is located, was the site of the First Fleet’s initial landing in Port Jackson on January 26, 1788.
Circular Quay is a central point for community celebrations, thanks to its location between the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It is one of the main gathering spots for Sydney New Year’s Eve. -
Sydney Opera House - The Sydney Opera House is recognized as one of the world’s most famous and distinctive buildings, a masterpiece of 20th-century architecture.
Designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon and completed by an Australian architectural team, the building was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth in 1973. The decision to build Utzon’s design is often overshadowed by subsequent events, including cost and scheduling overruns and the architect’s eventual resignation. -
Chinatown - Sydney’s Chinatown is larger and more impressive than most, thanks to the Chinese immigrants who began arriving in the 1800s. It offers everything from small specialty stores and expansive Asian grocers to noodle bars in hidden food halls and tucked-away fine-dining restaurants. Not to mention lively markets and late-night karaoke.
