Fantastic trip & Darren was an absolutely amazing tour guide. - We had an absolutely amazing day with Darren our tour guide - he was so good at flexing the itinerary to suit us and we ended up with an excellent personalised experience. The weather was perfect and the views were spectacular. Darren knew of all the great places to stop and he took so many photos of our family for us which was a nice touch! I would definitely recommend the Scenic World add-on, it was a great addition to our day & we loved walking through the rainforest. Featherdale wildlife park was a real highlight at the end of our day! We stroked kangaroos & wallabies, walked through with the lorikeets & we even got a photo with a koala which we’ll treasure forever. Nothing can beat the stunning views of the blue mountains and it was great to have someone with so much knowledge & experience showing us around. Highly recommend this trip with Darren, you won’t be disappointed!

Blue mountains and koalas .what an amazing day. - We lucked out and got Dave for our private tour to the Blue mountains. The 90 minutes drive out from Sydney was filled with all Dave’s 30 years of knowledge about everything Aussie. We saw wonderful canyon views and the Scenic world option al rides well worth it. The very best of days.

The Blue mountains are beautiful but the guide makes it even better. - Our journey to Sydney is a long trip but we wanted to see the blue mountains again this time with our own car and guide. Couldn't believe we found blue ribbon company again, even Dave who is brilliant. Much nicer doing the day at your own pace but with Dave's advice. We loved every minute of the day. Albeit cold now, only 10 degrees but Dave even had a spare coat for us. A wonderful day.

It’s more than a wow thing . - From the beginning of being picked up at our Sheraton hotel our driver was a breath of fresh air. We had reserved a private tour to the Blue mountains. Our hotel reception suggested a private tour as we said we don’t like tours. You certainly need a guide as the viewing places are quite spread out. The Grand Canyon is a marvel of nature. A great guide, as we had, sorry forgot his name, brings what you are seeing to life with his excellent knowledge. We got an added bonus of the brilliant autumn colours. The day is a must do for any tourist in Sydney.

THE very best of days in Sydney - This day topped off a wonderful stay in Sydney. On our last day we took Dave's private tour of the Blue mountain. We were fetched from our Hyatt hotel in the rocks - thank you to the hotel concierge for recommending this company, otherwise it was hard to know who to choose for the tour. Off we went at 8am promptly and it's a smooth journey of 90 minutes until you reach Katoomba. The roads are very smooth and it's a gentle rise going up. First stop was to see those three sisters, just like you see in the literature with clear blue skies. Autumn is so nice and fresh. It was good to take the option of Scenicworld train and gondolas. Also the forest Boardwalk is great for 45 minutes, nice and level. A few more looking out places, some shopping in Leura then we were back at the hotel at 5pm. A superb day.

Blue Mountains Day Trip with Dave - Fantastic day out with Dave, who filled our heads with his insights and the history of the areas that we passed through on our way to the Blue Mountains and back, finishing off with 'Waltzing Matilda' and 'Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport' from his playlist. Coupled with fantastic weather cannot think of a better way to spend the day

Blue Mountains just us and the guide - so special. - My wife’s 70th birthadat was a special occasion so we spent a bit extra to make a private tour with Blue Ribbon. Darren was so good at knowing his way, safe driving and clear explanations. The optional train and gondola rides added an extra dimension to the incredible viewpoints. What a beaut day !

Amazing tour!! Worth the extra $$ for the Private tour!! - Our tour guide was fantastic. He picked us up from our hotel on time reviewed our itinerary to see if we wanted to make any adjustments. He offered a few options, we selected our favorites, and we were on our way. He was super knowledgeable and provided interesting information and stories about the areas we visited throughout the day. Our guide managed to get us to every point of interest ahead of the crowds so we were never crowded or rushed. We had beautiful weather and got some tea amazing photos. Our guide suggested photo opportunities and offered to take photos of our group for us. He suggested Yellow Deli for lunch and it was SO good! We all loved everything about this tour. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and we’re SO glad we chose the PRIVATE tour. Highly recommended!!
