This trip is designed for those fascinated by the geologic features of the Namib Desert. Participants will be able to intimately appreciate the striking landscape of Rossing Mountain and its Dolerite outcrops. Our journey includes a stop at an ex-Aragonite mine, notable for its green marble extraction, and a close look at some calcium druses. Next, we explore a deserted rose quartz mine and a rock outcrop presenting aragonite, manganese rock, and red jasper. The unique flora covering the mountain, including the Common Candle bush, Euphorbia virosa, and an assortment of Lichens, hold significant appeal as well.
