Be at our meeting point 20 minutes before departure time. If you arrive after departure time your place on the tour can't be guaranteed or refunded. Meeting point is at Troll Expeditions Skaftafell on Maps. Driving time from Reykjavik is around 4 hours and a half in good weather conditions.

Amazing tour ! - I went here with my boyfriend to visit the glacier and an ice cave.
First we met the group (around 30 people I'd say) and the instructors helped us with the equipment.
Then we all took a bus for around 10 min to get to the departure of the hike and we got divided in groups of 8 people.
Fabian was our guide and he was very funny and explained very well how and why there was a glacier here. He even drew in the snow for us to understand better! He was open to questions all along the hike, that was great to learn new things.
We first walked on the glacier (quite tricky because it was so slippery we needed to stomp the ice with our crampons to have a grip) to get to the ice cave. It was wonderful. Then we walked to a crevasse and it was stunning as well.
Overall an amazing experience with an amazing guide ! Thank you :)

Very enjoyable morning. Perfect weather. - Our guide Clara was fantastic.
Not only was she informative, but very safety conscious. She looked after us all and gave us plenty of time for photos, which made our morning very enjoyable.
Oh and the weather was great.

Glacier hike - Awesome tour with Gerard! The glacier was amazing and we learned a lot. My mom was anxious on the ice and Gerard was so accommodating offering her support throughout! Would highly recommend :)

A must do tour to complete an amazing time in Iceland !! To hike up to Glacier sunset !! - It is my 45th bday and a big bucket list to hike up to mountain glacier and of course to be in beautiful Iceland !
The 4 hour Glacier and Caving tour was a
AMAZING! So amazing my inner child beamed up when I reached to the top!
Beautiful experience! Hiking on lava and rocks ; to ice snow glacier . To oversee the Beauty from the top - and hiking down at sunset. Breathtaking. I’m in love !
Michelle, our friendly and knowledgeable guide led the way! She did a great job leading the pack and explanation of the surroundings. Very nice lady !

We did the 2:30 pm tour (4 hours tour) / which is awesome:
1) sunset pictures
2) less crowded from our other group’s nearby
3) a better time slot to really soak it in
I am glad they had boots available (no charge ) to borrow . - I got my boots wet earlier in the morning visiting the black beach.

An unforgettable day! - What an amazing experience in beautiful weather. Our guide Jay was very informative and safety conscious but still lots of fun. We were due to do just the easy hike but were very lucky to get upgraded as we were the only two booked on.

Amazing Glacier walk! - Once on the glacier views are incredible! Our tour guide Batcha was extremely knowledgable! Was a very well organised tour and equipment provided! Despite the rain the tour was a great experience!

Ice Cave and Glacier walk(Troll) - We only visited one walk-through tunnel(“cave”) and majority of time was walking on glacier with about 5-10 degree inclines. We saw other tour operator fetched their participants in 4x4 vehicle all the way to the front of glacier tongue whereas we hike for more than 1km to get near. The highlight of our tour was the guide (Gerald) was very experienced and super patience. The weather was brilliant on the day we visited hence the whole tour experience was great.
