Three hour glacier hike - I had such a good time on my three hour hike on the glacier that I went back and did it with my daughter the next day. Despite the rain we had a blast. Avi was a great guide and differing abilities make no difference. Would I do it a third time a definite yes. And hopefully get Avi again.

We enjoyed the hike,... - We enjoyed the hike, which was both fun and educational. After preparation of the equipment, a bus brought us to the foot of the glacier. We then hiked to a glacier plateau where the guide introduced us to the various aspects of the glacier.

Beautiful walk on glacier - Very nice experience of an easy walk on the skaftafell glacier. From the rendezvous point, we equip ourselves with helmet safety equipment, harness, ice axe and spikes. A bus takes us to the foot of the glacier. On Our Guide Gerard shows us how to equip ourselves and then explains the geology of the glacier and walking very professionally. Ace Guide, very nice. We spent an excellent afternoon in a splendid site and in very good company.

A unique & special activity in Iceland - A unique and special activity! Well organized, not too strenuous but definitely an adventure. Our family of four plus four others was a perfect sized group for exploring and our guide Phillip was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable.

Lovely morning glacier hike - A lovely guided hike up a glacier with Atilla. We started at the Trolls hut where we were fitted with suitable walking boots (they need to have ankle support - you can hire them) crampons, ice pick and a helmet. After a short bus ride, we arrived at the base of the glacier. We were divided into smaller groups of up to 12 people and then we set off on our walk. Atilla led the way like a mother duck and we were all his duckling which kept us all on the right path. He gave us clear instructions on how to use the crampons and the ice pick. He was very knowledgable about the glacier and told us some interesting facts. The glacier was beautiful. Such a lovely three hours finished off with coffee and a chocolate bar. Thank you :)

Great Experience - Great experience and wonderful guide. We arrived, were fitted for crampons, given a harness and a pick axe. This was a bucket list experience but I am not sure why we were wearing the harness and given a pick axe as we didn’t use them. Was hoping to scale a small ice wall at least for the experience. For this reason and the fact we were left standing in the rain for 10 minutes afterwards waiting for the shuttle bus to pick us up, I couldn’t give this 5 stars.

Great experience stained by a condescending Spanish guide - A Spanish/Portuguese guide was arrogant and condescending towards my parent, who is Chinese and doesn’t speak English. Few occasions, the way they were treated or spoken to, came across rude. Bearing in mind, they are aware I’m a fluent English speaker and on those occasions, there is simply no need to bypass me to insult my parent. In stark contrast, a shoutout to Lily, from France, such amiable and caring guide. Great tour overall.

Awful customer service - We booked through a travel office in Reykjavik. We showed up at the time the tour was scheduled and immediately called the company when we arrived letting them know that we couldn’t find their company at the visitors center. The customer service was terrible- they told us us to email them and then hung up before providing the email and promptly proceeded to email me that they waited 15 minutes called some non US number they claimed was mine. They then emailed that I was at fault so there would be no refund. We drove 3 hours to do this tour and my three kids, husband and I were really disappointed. Please think twice about this company- a truly disappointing experience and awful customer service.
