So glad to have done this tour - What an amazing experience this tour was to explore the ice, walking on the glacier, hearing the tiny pieces of ice like glass rattling down the glacier as the wind blew around you, the shapes and shades of color in the frozen landscape and caves. Puff, very good time. The whole feel of the tour was very enjoyable, and the pace of the tour felt just right, with us really being able to take in the natural beauty while also continuing exploring. Marcin was an excellent, knowledgeable, and personable tour guide, and his way of leading and pacing the group led to me enjoying the tour even more. I am very pleased to have had this experience, especially with IceWalkers Tours.

Amazing ice caves and glacier exploration - Best Iceland experience I could have asked for. Our expert tour guide Martin took excellent care of us and lead our small group to several stunning views. First we explored an ice cave in the glacier. Martin carefully selected our timing in this cave so we could have an uncrowded experience. Continuing the activity we geared up and started hiking up the glacier to more stunning views overlooking the glacier and lagoon below. Truly an amazing experience, highly recommended.

Amazing tour! - Best glacier experience ever! Combination of walk and ice caves. Pace of the hike, organization, storytelling about glaciers and Iceland in general was amazing. I would chose IceWalkers again, recommend Marcin as a guide!

Glacier hike with ice cave tour - My wife booked us with Ice-walkers tour company. We chose this company as they are a small company with small groups and offered a unique personal experience. Once we donned our supplied crampons, safety harness and helmets we set off for a hike up the glacier. Our tour guide Marcin moved along at a nice pace which was comfortable for everyone. On the glacier we explored ice caves, ice canyons and hiked to where the glacier met the ocean. The glacier experience was fantastic! At the end of the hike we explored an ice cave which was recently discovered. Marcin guided us around the cave and was able to do this in a way where our group of 7 were away from other groups who were also visiting. We would highly recommend this company for those looking for more of a personal experience.

Fantastic small group experience - This was a fantastic experience. Our guide informed us upon our arrival a new cave had opened up. He asked if we wanted to change our plans a bit, more time in the cave and less on the glacier, from his excitement you could tell the cave was worth the extra time and it was. He got us past the big tour groups and into much more secluded sections of the cave. We were a small group, and the experience was very personal. After that we took a long walk across the glacier as promised, and saw many amazing things as well. He is a mom and pop operation, and with that you get a very personal experience from him. 5+ stars in my book

Great tour guide and company. - This is a small tour operation, that caters to keeping the groups small, and with that you get a much greater experience in my opinion. Our guide explained that our tour had some flexibility, and made sure we were all in agreement. When we arrived he informed us that a new icecave had opened up, and that he was suggesting due to the high winds we spend more time in the cave. With that, he took us into the cave, past the large groups, and back into the cave were only small tour groups can go. It was quite amazing. He was well versed, know his stuff, and was also kept us safe. We saw things few others get to see. And then we headed up the glacier as promised. With this, and the weather conditions, he worked hard with the group to make us all feel safe and secure, while giving us an opportunity to explore the glacier itself. 5+ rating from me.

Best way to explore the glacier - Absolutely amazing tour! Marcin was our guide for the ice cave adventure, and he was phenomenal. His enthusiasm for the glacier and the unique formations made the experience feel intimate and educational. Unlike larger tours that rush through the experience, we had plenty of time to explore the cave and take photos without feeling hurried. The ice caves itself were breathtaking.This is truly a unique way to experience Iceland’s natural beauty, and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Amazing experience! - I can’t say enough good things about the ice cave tour we took with Marcin! The caves we explored were absolutely stunning. Marcin was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly personable, making the entire tour feel like an adventure with a friend. He explained the science behind the glacier and pointed out interesting features along the way. The colors of the ice were mesmerizing, especially under the clear winter sky. If you're considering a glacier tour, go for this one! It’s a small group, and the experience is unmatched. Highly recommended!

Excellent experience! Highly recommended - Incredibly after several days of rain, we had a sunny and perfect day for the tour. Even though it was no longer possible to visit the cave that was planned, Marcin was responsible for giving us an incredible experience. We walked for hours on the glacier and visited other caves and ice tunnels, which we loved! Something of note is Marcin’s kindness and professionalism, and also his knowledge of the glacier, where almost all the time we were the only group. Small company but highly recommended!
