Friendly driver who will take you everywhere - Friendly driver who took our family of 6 around all the Chiang Mai sites including Doi Inthanon, Chiang Rai (except Golden triangle because road was closed), and city tours to the many temples. He even gave us tour site suggestions. Tee was always on time or earlier to pick us up. Will use him again when we return.

A Journey Through Serenity and Splendor: Exploring the Temples of Chiang Rai - Nestled in the northern reaches of Thailand, the enchanting city of Chiang Rai beckons travelers with its tranquil ambiance and a wealth of spiritual treasures. Among its most captivating attractions are the remarkable temples that dot the landscape, each a testament to the region's rich cultural heritage and artistic prowess. As I embarked on a journey to explore these sacred sites, I was transported to a realm where the past seamlessly intertwines with the present, creating an unforgettable tapestry of beauty and spirituality. My odyssey began at the illustrious Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple, a masterpiece of contemporary Thai architecture. As I approached its gleaming facade, adorned with intricate carvings and reflective surfaces that shimmered in the sunlight, I was struck by the temple's ethereal beauty. Stepping inside, I was enveloped in a world of wonder, as the interior walls were adorned with mesmerizing murals depicting scenes from Buddhist mythology and popular culture. The White Temple's fusion of traditional motifs with modern influences left me in awe, a true testament to the ingenuity of its creator, Chalermchai Kositpipat. Continuing my sojourn, I visited Wat Phra Kaew, the original home of the revered Emerald Buddha before it was relocated to Bangkok. This ancient temple exuded a sense of tranquility and reverence, with its ornate pagodas, lush gardens, and intricate golden embellishments. As I wandered through the temple complex, I marveled at the exquisite craftsmanship on display, from the delicate stucco work to the vibrant murals that adorned the walls. The spiritual aura that permeated the air filled me with a profound sense of peace and introspection. My exploration culminated at Wat Rong Suea Ten, or the Blue Temple, a hidden gem that captivated me with its striking blue facade and ornate embellishments. As I crossed the threshold into the temple's inner sanctum, I was greeted by a resplendent interior bathed in hues of blue and gold, a sight that took my breath away. The intricate details of the interior decorations, from the elaborate paintings on the ceiling to the majestic Buddha statue at the center, spoke of a deep reverence for tradition and artistry. In every temple I visited, I was not just a tourist, but a pilgrim on a spiritual journey, guided by the profound beauty and serenity that enveloped me. The temples of Chiang Rai are not mere monuments of stone and mortar; they are living testaments to the enduring legacy of Thai culture and faith. As I bid farewell to these sacred sites, I carried with me a sense of wonder and gratitude for the opportunity to witness their timeless beauty. In conclusion, a visit to the temples of Chiang Rai is not just a sightseeing excursion, but a transformative experience that touches the soul and leaves an indelible mark on the heart. For those seeking a journey of spiritual enrichment and cultural immersion, the temples of Chiang Rai stand as beacons of light, inviting travelers to embark on a voyage of discovery and enlightenment.

Made our trip to Chiang Mai enjoyable! Kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Flexible to our demands and clean transport. - Great service throughout the tour. Accommodating to our requests when we wanted to stop at different places along the way. Very knowledgeable about the area and very engaging throughout. We did 4 days of packaged tours with Mr Tee and really got to enjoy Chiang Mai due to the tours. As we chose a private vehicle, it was perfect with family. Day 1 - Doi Suthep Tour Day 2 - Chiang Rai Tour Day 3 - Doi Inthanon Day 4 - Bua Tong National Park Mr Tee’s vehicle was extremely clean and comfortable and he was very courteous, communicative, and punctual throughout. Prices were very reasonable in comparison to other transportation methods. Contact them through email and then the rest will be handled :) All the photos in this review were a result of taking Mr Tee tours. Highly recommended and Mr Tee and his fleet of drivers made our Chiang Mai experience enjoyable.
