Morning alms is about more than just providing daily food. You will be in the daily morning ritual all over Thailand for a very long time with the Buddhist monks.
Re-board the minivan to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, which stands on the flank of the mountain at an elevation of 1,056 meters (3464feet). Then climb the staircase to the top, admire the Lanna style golden pogoda covered with engraved gold plates, flanked by four ornamental umbrellas and enjoy the complete panoramic views of whole Chiang Mai city and wonderful countryside landscape. -
Wat Umong - Then visit tunnel temple named Wat Umong, completely different from other typical temples.
Enter the tunnels of Wat Umong and see the impressive Buddha images. It doesn’t matter what religion you have. When you go inside the tunnel, it whispers to you the secrets of this world and old history of this temple built in 1297. - Umbrella Village - Bor Sang - Let’s drive 40minutes approximately to the Bo Sang Handicraft Centre, where you meet the local artisans making the world famous Paper umbrellas whose brilliant designs are mysteriously, magically impervious to rain. Watch the whole process from making the bamboo struts, covering them with paper, putting them out to dry and then hand painting them. You can ask them to paint a variety of beautiful designs on items that you bring to them (for example a Purse, mobile phone covers, handbag, hat, jacket, t-shirt, even the leg of your jeans). Even very complicated scenic designs can be painted on your object right in front of you in minutes. That would be a treasured gift for either yourself or someone special back at home.

Sankampaeng Hot Springs - that visit Sankampaeng hot springs that is very relaxing with plenty of flowers and green space. Have lunch at your own expenses here.
Don’t forget about the eggs. Buy eggs in a basket and hang in the water where it comes out of the ground at 105 degrees C. Then roll-up your pant legs and take off your footwear and dunk your feet in the free foot bath. Fetch your eggs, enjoy the eggs with sauce while enjoying hot water therapy.
There were a few different options of how to enjoy the Springs including massage place, mineral bath and the swimming pool. Enjoy the picnic with the locals.
