Bangkok is full of beautiful temples, palace and of course a beautiful canal or klong which is considered as “Venice of the East”. This convenient city tour will visit three must-see temples - Wat Traimit, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun. We will also visit Royal Grand Palace (if option with Grand Palace is selected) and not to be missed Bangkok Canal Sightseeing Tours (if option with Canal Tour is selected) where you will pass by heritage town Big Buddha and Artist House. • Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit) - Wat Traimit in Bangkok is known for housing a 5.5-tonne statue of a seated Buddha. The gold sculpture dates back to the 13th century and measures at nearly 5 metres in height. Located in Chinatown Bangkok, this ornate temple is about 450 metres west of the Hualampong Railway Station
• Wat Phra Chetuphon - Wat Pho (the Temple of the Reclining Buddha), or Wat Phra Chetuphon, is right behind the Temple of the Emerald Buddha – it’s a must-see for any first-time visitor to Bangkok. As one of the largest temple complexes in the city, it’s famed for its giant reclining Buddha that is 46 metres long, covered in gold leaf. This an A World Heritage Site
• Temple Of Dawn (Wat Arun) - Wat Arun, locally known as Wat Chaeng, is a landmark temple on the west (Thonburi) bank of the Chao Phraya river. It’s easily one of the most stunning temples in Bangkok, not only because of its riverside location but also because the design is very different from the other temples you can visit in the Thai capital. Wat Arun (nicknamed the ‘Temple of Dawn’) is partly made up of colourfully decorated spires and stands majestically over the water.
