Bromo sunrise tour, Madakaripura waterfalls - Amazing tour to watch bromo sunrise, bromo hike and madakaripura waterfalls. Absolutely wonderful service. El is a wonderful tour guide - very personable, knowledgeable and is creative photographer. All the drivers were also great. Highly recommend!

Memorable experience - Great experience from pre booking to actual tour. Guide Oni was fantastic. Patient and considerate to us, he also took great photos for us. Lunch was served at a nice restaurant with nice views of the mountain. The jeep and car drivers also provided very good service. Tip- may need to take motion sickness pill for the jeep ride if you sit at the back. Very jerky!

Wonderful Bromo - Wonderful experience and amazing lanscapes! Our guide Joseph was very friendly, he brought us in the best point to appreciate the view on Bromo. He also spoke english greatly, so we had very interesting cultural exchange while waiting for the sunrise!
Also the drivers very good as well. Tour well organized. I recommend!

Bromo sunrise with the impressive waterfall - We really enjoyed the full-day (from midnight to the afternoon) trip on Bromo and Madakaripura.
Arrived early, which helped to secure the best spot on the view point and have a panoramic view of the sunrise. Madakaripura waterfall left us impressed by its height and the surrounding landscapes. Make sure to wear non-slippery sandals/shoes for this part and be ready to get wet. The place for breakfast was chosen perfectly: scenic view on the forest, impeccable service and a many options, including vegetarian dishes. Our guide Rico made our trip very smooth and enjoyable: all elements of the tour (transportation to Bromo, lunch, tour to the waterfall) were ready upon our arrival. Rico is a knowledgeable guide who answered all our questions about the region, anticipated our needs and kept us a great company overall. Driver Yohanes transported us with comfort from/to the hotel and to the waterfall and we were able to have a nap on the way. The itinerary is well tailored and is great for those who want to combine the volcano with something else.

Sunrise on Mount Bromo - Tour very well organized, our guide Ariq is an exceptional guy, helpful, very kind and always smiling. We spent an unforgettable night also favored by the weather. Obviously in August there are many tourists and the areas were a bit crowded but this does not depend on who organizes it which in our case was impeccable! Later, after breakfast we continued with Madakaripura Falls, always accompanied by Ariq is a local guide. These are also very nice. Highly recommended!

A real adventure - great experience. - I have had an amazing day with Riza my guide, the drivers and a local guide for the waterfall. What an amazing experience - so much to do and loads of variety and adventures to be had. The view for the sunrise was cold but impressive, the volcano amazing, seeing the villages we drove through so interesting, the motorcycle ride fun and the waterfall adventurous and incredible. All in one trip!! And Riza was brilliant - easy to chat to, great English, good sense of fun, incredibly helpful and really knew his stuff - could answer any question - and got us to the spots at just the right time to enjoy them without the crowds. Go with him - you won’t regret it!

An unforgettable one-day trip from Surabaya to Bromo with Cheap Bromo - If you are looking for a unique adventure in the Surabaya area, I highly recommend a day trip to Bromo with Cheap Bromo. It was one of the best decisions I made during my stay in Indonesia — perfectly organised, full of beautiful views and led by a guide who really knows his stuff.
Our guide was Friesco — a person who completely changed this trip. From the very beginning, it was clear that Friesco took care of every detail: from logistics to the comfort of the participants. His English is perfect, which makes communication very easy, and at the same time he is extremely polite, tactful and full of positive energy.
Friesco knows the area very well and can take you to places that are not only breathtaking but also perfect for taking photos. Thanks to him, we were able to capture magical moments at sunrise, with a view of the smoking volcano and the surrounding valleys. I felt safe and cared for, and at the same time I had the space to soak up the atmosphere of this extraordinary place.
If you care about beautiful shots, efficient organisation and a guide who truly loves what they do — Friesco and Cheap Bromo are a bull's eye.
I definitely recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see Bromo at its best!
