Highly recommended for anyone looking private tour to Bromo and Ijen - I had an amazing experience with Trippy Trip, and I highly recommend them for anyone looking to explore Bromo and Ijen!
First, the car was clean and comfortable, making the long drives enjoyable. The pricing was also very reasonable, which is a big plus.
The highlight of the trip was witnessing the stunning sunrise at Bromo—absolutely breathtaking! Additionally, seeing the magical blue fire at Ijen was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Our guide, Zidnyy, was professional and friendly. His fluency in English made communication easy, and he ensured we safely navigated the challenging terrain of Ijen.
Fauzi, our driver, was equally impressive. He drove safely and made us feel at ease throughout the journey.
Overall, Trippy Trip exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely choose them again for future adventures!

Enjoyable Trip - Custom service was friendly and very easy to deal with. Tour as described in the website but can be customised if needed. Our guide contacted us one day prior to the tour and waited for us at the airport. Guide is very accomodative and can speak English. Transport provided is comfortable. Hotels privided are decent. For Tumpak Sewu, the hotel is just 5 min way, and for Bromo hotel is also just located beside the entrance to the park. Almost everything is taken care off, including place for lunch and dinner. Just have to pay for own lunch and dinner.
All places have clean toilets charging at IDR 5000. Just have to bring own toilet paper if needed. Cold jackets are available for rent at Ijen and Bromo (it's really cold and windy at night). Shoes suitable for waterwall is also available at Tumpak Sewu. At Ijen, our guide have prepared for us the gas mask, head lamp, and also hiking stick, which make the hike easier. There's option to be pulled up in a wheelbarrow /cart (locals called them Lumborgini) at affordable price. Get ready to get all wet at Tumpak Sewu, just bring camera, some cash (to buy food and water halfway) for the journey. At Bromo, there's option for horse ride at IDR 250 k (not included in package) if you want.
The views are awesome. Really enjoyed this trip

Wow!!! I’d definitely recommend 3D/2N - With only a short amount of time and plenty to see Zidny and our driver were amazing! They were both informative and fun. Zidny’s English is perfect and during the long car rides he made sure our comfort was taken care of! During the hikes, he went above and beyond to make sure our experiences were some of the best memories we could have possibly had!! For the money, I feel we optimized our comfort and time with this trip! I would recommend anyone able to do this trip, to do it!!! Thx Zidny, you guys left us both so happy!

Unforgettable 4D3N Bromo-Ijen-Waterfalls Tour - We had an amazing 4-day, 3-night tour of Bromo, Ijen, and the waterfalls. It was both tiring and rewarding, but every moment was worth it. The places we visited were absolutely stunning — from the incredible sunrise at Mount Bromo to the magical blue flames at Ijen and the serene waterfalls. Each stop left us in awe and gave us unforgettable memories.
Our guide Nael was wonderful — so kind and attentive, taking care of every detail and making the journey stress-free. We felt well cared for throughout the trip, which allowed us to fully enjoy the experience.
If you’re looking for an adventure filled with breathtaking views and unforgettable moments, this tour is definitely worth it. Just be prepared for some early mornings and long days, but the reward is an experience you’ll never forget!

Fantastic Experience with TrippyTrip in East Java - We booked a 2D1N tour with TrippyTrip to explore Mt Bromo, Madakaripura Waterfall, and Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, and I can’t praise them enough! The entire experience, from pre-booking to the end of the trip, was flawless.
Pre-tour/Booking Phase:
Vincent, our point of contact throughout the process (and I believe the owner), was incredibly professional. His communication was prompt, clear, and left no room for confusion. He patiently answered all my questions, even when I requested multiple changes to the itinerary until we had the perfect plan tailored to our needs. His responsiveness and thoroughness made the booking process smooth and stress-free.
During the Trip:
Punctuality: Our pickup from Surabaya was scheduled for 11 PM, and our driver, Raya, and guide, Ins, were already waiting for us at 10:45 PM. This level of punctuality continued throughout the tour, with Raya and Ins always ready and waiting for us.
Safety: Initially, we had some concerns about safety, especially being in a foreign country and starting our tour at midnight. However, as soon as we met Raya and Ins, all our doubts disappeared. We felt completely safe with them, and by the end of the first day, we were comfortable enough to leave all our belongings and valuables in the car without any worry. For us as Indians, that level of trust speaks volumes!
Knowledgeable Guide: Ins was incredible—highly knowledgeable about Indonesia’s culture, history, and traditions. She answered all our questions and was genuinely caring and attentive throughout the trip. She constantly checked to ensure we were doing well, and her agility and willingness to help stood out.
Flawless Operations: The entire trip ran like clockwork. At every stop, from the jeep at Bromo to the bike taxis at Madakaripura, everything was perfectly arranged. Tickets were pre-sorted, guides were ready, and at Tumpak Sewu, Ins even escorted us down to the bottom of the waterfall—a challenging hike! She made sure we were safe, hydrated, and enjoying ourselves without ever feeling rushed. As slow travelers, we appreciated the freedom to take our time and truly immerse ourselves in each place, and TrippyTrip gave us that flexibility.
Pricing: While the cost seemed high from the perspective of my domestic currency, after comparing with other tours, TrippyTrip actually offered better value. When you factor in the professionalism, seamless communication, operational excellence, fantastic guide, great driver, comfortable hotel with breakfast, and all tickets included, it was worth every penny.
Post-trip: Even after the trip, we received follow-up messages from both Ins and Vincent, checking on our well-being and asking about our experience. That level of care even after the tour ended was the cherry on top!
The locations we visited—Mt Bromo, Madakaripura, and Tumpak Sewu—are stunning on their own, but experiencing them with TrippyTrip made the journey unforgettable. They truly elevated our experience. Highly recommended, and best of luck to the entire TrippyTrip team!

Perfect. - We would like to thank Nael, our Guide for 3 days who did a great job, welcoming, smiling and very kind.
I recommend, an ideal course even if we did not see Ijen which was closed, but Nael offered us a backup solution, and we appreciated it.

Three days trip Mount Bromo, Tumpak Sewu e Balurani - Landscapes never experienced before. Mount Bromo sunrise absolutely breathless. Even if Ijen volcano was closed at that time, our guide (Andre of Trippy Trippy, and the driver Fouzi) fulfilled our expectations, giving us an alternative tour at Balurani National park. Excellent accomodations both in Bromo and the last night. Highly recommended.

Best trip ever! - We had an amazing trip with our guide Nael and our driver Sulis. Nael speaks English very well, so he could tell us a lot about everything we saw, but also about cultural differences between our country and Indonesia. Sulis made is feel safe in the car the whole trip. We had such a great time! The hotels were good and also the communication. Unfortunately the Ijen was closed due to the activity. We had contact in advantage to change the trip, so we went to Malang and Jodipan instead. The Bromo is realy a must see! And the Tumpak Sewu also and it is realy an adventure. We would recommend Trippy Trip Tours, Nael and Sulis 10/10⭐️.
Also Nael made so much nice picture of us. We have made so many unforgettable memories 😍

I didn't have good experience with them. - Before I went I was told that Ijen volcano was closed for seismic activity for which they are not to blame. I was offered in place of Baluran National Park for animal safari but that place should not be offered because apart from an ugly landscape, you only see vulgar monkeys. More serious is to offer it as a replacement for Ijen because there is no comparison, and they did not lower the price of the tour that should have been very lower.
The guide, Nael, I was offered on the tour was not entirely correct and was always late and not on time apart from worrying about us the essentials.
Rating is also bad because on the last day I disappeared from my backpack €100 and only separated from it for a while that I left it in the vehicle supposed to be guarded by the driver. Not only did he not guard our things, but he reached in and took €100.
I chose this tour operator for google reviews, but in my case I have not had good experience with them.
