A tour of the coasts of Morocco, Atlantic and Mediterranean! - Third trip to Morocco and this time to visit the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts. My guide from my last trip, Khalid Ait Baha did an excellent tour last trip so asked to help me plan this one too. Our plan was to avoid the big cities and look for interesting ones instead. We saw the Lixus Roman ruins in Larache where they made their famous fish sauce, garum and shipped it around the Roman world. We stayed in small 'surf' towns with incredible sunsets. We ate oysters fresh from local oyster beds. Khalid talked an employee of a closed ceramic museum in Safi into opening one floor for us to see the beautiful craft of Moroccan pottery. The scenery along the way was spectacular! It was a wonderful trip. I will include photos that are just a hint of how special this part of Morocco really is. Kahlid Ait Baha is the gentleman to show you too. Enjoy!
