- Pilanesberg National Park - Embark on a full-day safari at Pilanesberg Game Reserve, departing from Johannesburg. The tour includes round-trip transportation to the park and two 2.5-hour game drives led by a highly skilled ranger in an open vehicle. Upon arrival, your guide will take you on an exhilarating morning 4x4 safari drive to spot the wildlife that calls the National Park home. Our knowledgeable guides will provide detailed information about the animals you encounter and will do their utmost to locate members of the Big 5. During the midday heat, enjoy lunch at one of the many rest camps within the National Park before setting off on an afternoon open vehicle safari drive. Our vehicles leave the National Park between 15:30 and 16:00 to ensure a return to Johannesburg before sunset.

After we pick you up from your Johannesburg hotel or residence between 06:00 - 06:30, we set out for the Pilanesberg Nature Park.
We anticipate reaching Pilanesberg Park at about 9am, at which point we’ll embark on our first open vehicle safari drive (approximately 3 hours), exploring the array of wildlife residing within the National Park. From 12 pm…
After we pick you up from your Johannesburg hotel or residence between 06:00 - 06:30, we set out for the Pilanesberg Nature Park.
We anticipate reaching Pilanesberg Park at about 9am, at which point we’ll embark on our first open vehicle safari drive (approximately 3 hours), exploring the array of wildlife residing within the National Park. From 12 pm until 1 pm, we’ll pause for lunch at Pilanesberg Center located in the heart of the park, where you can enjoy a picturesque view of a waterhole. Lunch concluded, we resume our wildlife adventure with our second Open Safari Drive (around 2 hours), aiming to exit the park around 15:30 and arrive back in Johannesburg between 17:30 to 18:00.

Wonderful Pilanesberg Game Drive Experience with MOAfrica - We booked our Pilanesberg game drive with MOAfrica and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The pick-up was smooth and well-organized, which made the start of the trip stress-free. The meals provided were also very good, adding comfort to the long day out.
The real highlight, however, was our ranger Petrus. He was knowledgeable, patient, and had a great sense of humor that kept the drive engaging. His understanding of the park and the animals made every sighting more meaningful, and he went out of his way to ensure we got the best experience possible.
Overall, this was an excellent tour. If you’re considering a Pilanesberg safari, I’d highly recommend MOAfrica—and if you’re lucky enough to get Petrus as your guide, you’re in for a great day.

An Unforgettable Safari with the Best Guide – Petrus Mosehla! - My friends and I had an amazing experience during our day trip to Pilanesberg National Park. Our safari was absolutely incredible, thanks to our amazing tour guide, Petrus Mosehla. He was extremely knowledgeable about the park’s wildlife and history, and shared fascinating insights in a friendly, engaging way that kept both adults and kids fully captivated.

Great experience! - Really good! I had the time of my life! The guide Moloko was incredible and we saw many different animals! Lunch was good and I recommend 6h safari for optimal experience

Fun day out - Beautiful experience and amazing wildlife throughout the surroundings.

Great Safari experience - This was a very enjoyable experience. The communication was spot on from the team. I made the booking with less than 24 hours to go- however the team were able to communicate with me via Whatapp to confirm my pick up time.
The option to pick up and drop off is such a valuable addition.
Alex was such a great driver and he made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our journey to the Park and back to our accommodation.
Petrus was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide who drove us around the park and gave us useful information whist keeping the group entertained.
There was a variety of food and drink to choose from and the portion was reasonable. I tried the local menu of chicken curry and pap- it was absolutely delicious.
It was a hot day so we did not get to see all the big 5's but nevertheless, it was a great day out.

Magical day at Pilanesberg Park - From booking to coming back to our hotel the experience was amazing! It was very easy to book with them via whatsapp and they are very punctual. Cibu picked us up and drove us back to our hotel. He is super nice, gave us many informations about Johannesburg and their culture. Always checked on our wellbeing. Moloko guided us in the park and it couldn’t be better!! She is very knowledgeable and shared with us a lot about the animals and the environment. It was a fabulous and memorable day!!

Incredible team and customer service on top of an amazing experience. - We had mixed up the dates and the team were so incredible in helping us to go a day early and catch up with the pick up vans. Such amazing response and help from all. I then had to cut my day short and fly home early for a family emergency. The team rallied around to help me get back to the city in time. I can’t thank them enough. Not only that but they managed to get me to see half the park and what an incredible experience full of animals all walking past our vehicle. Highly recommend going and I know you will be taken care of by the team what ever happens.

Great safari tour & best guide (desmond) - I had a great safari experience, and this was my first time. Desmond was absolutely fantastic as a guide, his expertise and friendly attitude made the trip truly memorable. I will definitely recommend this experience to my family and friends. The Moafrika team was also incredibly kind and helpful; they went above and beyond to accommodate us, even with a last minute booking. Everything was well organized, and communication was excellent throughout. I highly appreciated their professionalism and warm service.

Not worth as much - The guides are good and they try their best but the overall experience simply does not live up to it. There were people dozing off in our ride as most of the 5 hours you are just driving around. Personally i dont think its worth the money.
