- Please, kindly note that the touring vehicle is a Mini Countryman compact SUV, and although technically a 5-seater, space-wise it is most comfortable for a maximum of three adult guests.
- Visiting the sites requires substantial amount of walking. Many are outdoors. The weather in Orkney tends to be windy… :)

A memorable afternoon discovering Orkney - We only had a short time in Orkney, and our time was further impacted by the ferry to Orkney being delayed due to high winds and rough seas. In addition, our plan was further impacted when we received a message on the ferry that our booking for Scara Brae had been cancelled due to the high winds. Despite these challenges, Anna came to the rescue, ensuring that we had a memorable afternoon in Orkney.
When Anna heard that our Scara Brae visit had been cancelled she took the initiative to arrange tickets for Maeshowe Chambered Cairn (which we had not been able to arrange ourselves). Knowing that time was of the essence, and that any stop for food would eat into our time, Anna brought along some tasty snacks for us to eat as we traveled from site to site. We were delighted with how many sites Anna was able to show us in such a short time.
Anna's flexibility, initiative, knowledge and extra touches really made a huge difference in making our short visit to Orkney such a memorable experience. Thank you Anna!

Anna is simply the best and mainland is fascinating and magnificient! - Me, my 10 years old daughter and my father spent the day with Anna and she made us fall in love with her island! She tailored our tour in accordance with our needs and taste. I was very impressed with the rich history (having visited egypt, that is something) Anna brushed up on her viking knowledge especially for us. She brought us to the Best spots and also where no other tourists were going…She even drove out of her way to make us see Highland cows…
I very strongly recommand her tour!

You will be amazed with the History and knowledge! - Wow! What’s fabulous your with a smart, informed guide like Anna! We had a great experience from the moment we were picked up.
We visited the Stones, Skara Brae, and many other fascinating places. If you can book with Anna, don’t think twice! She was the most fun we had on a tour on this trip. Very knowledgeable about the local history.

Orkney Island tour with an amazing Guide! - our tour with Anna was amazing. Anna drove us all over Orkney and we loved every moment we spent seeing the beautiful island . her knowledge and depth of information was so insightful and helped us to understand the history of this very special place. I can't recommend enough you taking a tour with Anna. She really is the best.

Best Tour Guide - Anna was the best. She immediately reached out as soon as the tour was booked to find out what we wanted to do. She was very knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience, including having snacks and drinks. She even took us to the Cathedral and shared her historic knowledge. She was very personable and just so kind. I highly recommend this tour with Anna. So glad we found this tour and that she was the tour guide.

Grand Orkney Island excursion - We had an absolutely fabulous tour with Anna. She is very knowledgeable about the island’s history, so we learned a lot. She patiently waited for us as we went on a cliff hike to get amazing views and when we returned she offered us a cheese plate. She sent us off with Orkney mementoes and memories. We loved spending the day with her.

A great winter visit to the Orkneys - Our guide Anna was knowledgeable, friendly and ever so accommodating to our interests and requests. Extra kudos to her for braving the elements with us as we encountered cold temperatures and high winds during our winter visit to the Orkneys. She even provided us with much appreciated warm drinks and chocolates. It was a great day exploring many of the wonders the Orkneys.
