The best tour in Orkney! - This was one of the most amazing tours we’ve taken part of! We were in Kirkwall as a stop for a British Isles cruise, all of the tours leaving from our port were already booked so we had to bus to Stromness from Kirkwall to meet our tour guide and it was more than worth it. We had the best tour compared to everyone else we have spoken to on the cruise ship and consider ourselves lucky that all the other tours were booked up. Our guide Dougie was very knowledgeable, a great story teller, and clearly passionate about the history of the Orkney Islands and everything that makes it so special. We would definitely recommend, even if you need to take the bus to Stromness to catch the tour. They also were considerate of our all aboard time and made sure we made it back comfortably. 6 out of 5, thank you so much!

Lovely day of Orkney experiences - A really lovely day across Orkney. The guide shared a great deal of history and local background. He planned the route around avoiding large tour groups which I appreciated. Scara Brae was an absolute highlight for me. It was a packed day and we had a full minibus but because the guide was really friendly the group got along well together and it didn't feel rushed.

Well organisesd and run tour. Guide had good subject knowledge - The tour was engaging and only caters to a small group of people which ensures you get to make the most of the day and visit more site than would other wise be possible.

Great trip to Neolithic sites in Orkney - Went everywhere I wanted to go to see the Heart of Neolithic Orkney. Chris, the driver, was nice and friendly and gave us lots of interesting facts about the area. Not just the neolithic stuff, but general information about how Orkney people live today. He even provided knee pads so that we could go inside the Unstan Cairn because you have to crawl through a short entrance tunnel in order to stand up in the main section of the tomb.

The best for Orkney in one day - This is the way to go if you only have one day in Orkney, especially if you're in Thurso as it times perfectly with the scrabster/stromness ferry. The guide was super knowledgeable and knew they best way to navigate the sites. He made sure everyone was comfortable and kept things to timetable so we had time to see everything. Had the best day. Highlights for me was Scara Brae and the standing stones
