Must-see and magical - Great activity. It takes a little endurance but the final show is definitely worth it. Our guide was very attentive, he adapted to the rhythm of each. and gave us clear and informative explanations about the Stromboli Accessible to all. To do absolutely

Hiking with children - Just returned from trekking which was wonderful, beyond expectations. Very well prepared guide and excellent organization. Long but not difficult path and the spectacle of the eruptions pays off with every effort. Absolutely recommended.

Fun fire walk! - Very nice evening walk, with (from afar) view of fire-breathing Stromboli. Big group, but that doesn't matter. Very nice that the way back (a bit longer, but much less steep) was different than the way out (mountain; quite steep path with stones and sometimes stairs). Recommended!

To do absolutely! Magic! - It's a must-do. Great hike with children 9 and 13 years old. 2h30 ascent. 1 hour upstairs. 2 hours downstairs. Accessible to good walkers. Beautiful moment.

All right, but didn't speak French. - Giovanni was an excellent guide. He did not speak French, as expected, but his English was very understandable. We had an amazing time!

Unforgettable excursion - Good hike at sunset, medium difficulty and reward on arrival, the show is striking! Only downside our guide did not speak French contrary to what was agreed, really shame for the volcanological explanations!

Memorable trek up Stromboli - This was a great trek with a knowledgeable, friendly guide, (Stefani), who spoke several languages. The pace of the hike meant that all were catered for. There was not as much time at the viewing platform as expected or we would have liked, however others in the group were keen to finish the tour.

Young guide needs some people skills - Never experienced the tour and despite wearing closed toe shoes as per the information, the young man who I assumed was the guide, rudely told me if I didn’t hire shoes then I wouldn’t be on the trip. I can’t wear anyone else’s shoes and tried to explain this and was rudely told more or less tough then you’re not going on the tour. By then I was so annoyed by his rude and dismissive attitude and was due telling him to shove his tour where the sun doesn’t shine. I stayed back and my husband continued with the hike as I didn’t want to disappoint him. He has already fought and beaten cancer and obviously looks at the world through new eyes and wants to experience as much as he can. No refund was given to me just a shrug and no apology either. This young man needs to work on his people skills and LISTEN to his customers! I noted that a few people on the trek were wearing the same kind of shoes as me and weren’t rudely told to hire shoes or they weren’t allowed to go. The only plus to this was my husband enjoyed the experience.
