During the hike, the guide will take the opportunity to highlight and sample various species of plants, berries, mosses, and lichens, while also sharing insights into the local wildlife and cultural heritage.

The hike’s final segment reaches a mountain summit offering breathtaking views of Stavanger, the Lysefjorden, and Preikestolen from above—vistas that most hikers do not experience! After taking in these views, the group descends to Pulpit Rock to gaze into the fjord below. Following a relaxing break, the preferred return route to the trailhead is chosen.
