The Viking Museum - In the vivid exhibition you will meet the Vikings through movies, scenery, projections and sound effects as well as archaeological objects. Knowledgeable guides in Viking gear will answer all your questions and the many replicas let you explore life as a Viking with all your senses. You will learn about the Viking raids, journeys and mastery in ship building as well as the everyday life at the farm. The Norse mythology is present everywhere and here myth meets truth.
Ragnfrid’s saga is a Viking ride where you get to follow along on a trip to the Viking Age. The journey begins at Frösala Farm with Ragnfrid and her husband Harald. Then you proceed to go on a journey where you witness plundering in the west and slave trade in the east. With sounds, light and atmospheric environments you travel through the 11-minute journey that is told by Ragnfrid herself.

LOVE THIS MUSEUM - and it even has a rollercoaster in the basement. - LOVED this museum. Had a great time. The fantastic tour guide gave a great English-speaking tour which was well-spoken and engaging. The museum was very interesting and learned a lot about the Vikings. The rollercoaster in the basement was a lovely touch. It was a little cheesy but good.

Interactive and Educational experience - A really fun and entertaining experience. Learn a lot about vikings and their history. The carrousel at the end was an incredible way to end the tour, we had so much fun.
The only reason why I'm rating this museum as 4/5 is because it seems more targeted to families with children, but we did have fun and learned a lot.
The guy at the entrace was super nice and agreed to take a picture with us. My boyfriend was really happy about it as you cand see 😁

Informative & interesting - I learnt a great deal about the history of Vikings. It was presented in a stimulating manner e.g. reconstruction of a male viking; sensory experience of materials used. I particularly liked the ride at the end !

Interesting for kids. - I think this is good for adults with kids rather than someone my age. At 60 it seemed not too interesting to me. But kids were enjoying it and parents too and were explaining things to the kids. It has an entertaining ride that kids will enjoy. I found it cheesy and boring for me.
If you have time and have kids go there. It is a few steps away from the Vasa and Nordic museums.
I also went to the restaurant there. Restaurant Eld. The food was good. If you are hungry or tired it’s a good place to eat. Nice service nice food and reasonable price. .

Sympa - We expected the worst, but the museum is actually quite nice, but it is not based on history.
Part of it is done in a wagon type ghost train, it appeals to children but is not level.
Staff in Viking costume, quite affable and open.
I am commissioned this museum among the other neighbors but not as a place to do absolutely.

Nice but no more - The guide was not very captivating
The train ride at the end is nice but the story told should have been a better Viking story because here, frankly, we are bored
To do with children
