An excellent introduction to Swedish cuisine & culture! - Cotton our guide was extremely knowledgeable and made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable. We visited various food outlets to taste firstly a selection of cheeses with rye bread and cloudberry marmalade. The second stop was to taste reindeer jerky, smoked moose and wild boar and bear sausage with beer. Third stop was the traditional meatball meal. We them went on to have a fish soup with some tasty morsels of a cheese pie, smoked salmon, herring on toast and a prawn taster. This last stop was accompanied with a nice glass of Chardonnay. Then went on to have some taste of different licorice which certainly blew our taste buds! We finally ended up having a cinnamon and cardamon bun with coffee. The whole experience and walking tour took just over three hours and we were able to take in the sites as well as we walked through the city. A most enjoyable experience thanks to Cotton.

Delicious! - The food tour was so fun! It was a tour of Nordic cuisine with Stockholm native Fritz as our guide. Because we had a small group, he shared lots of insights into the food, culture and Swedish history. There was quite a bit more walking than I realized but loved ending up in cozy traditional spot in Old Town. Everything was delicious! Would recommend for anyone who loves food and even more if you want learn more about the culture behind food.

Forget the rest, this tour's the best! - A very friendly guide (named Cotton) met us exactly on time at main entrance to foodhall and established any food allergies/ alcohol preferences from the start. We proceeded into the markethall and were presented with various local cheeses, unusual meats (sausage from wild bear, reindeer jerky, smoked moose) and a meal of traditional Swedish meatballs & potato washed down with a glass of Swedish beer. Whilst enjoying this we were given a great insight to the traders, the buildings history and architecture. Cotton then guided us to the next venue with terrific details and stories about the city and its streets & buildings. At the next stop we were again presented with an array of traditional Swedish fish cuisine accompanied with wine. Absolutely delicious and again Cotton's conversation was delightful. Upstairs we were treated to a selection of liquorice treats; some with unexpected tastes! Onwards the chat and information about Stockholm was wonderful and we concluded our tour in a beautiful little back -street café in Old Town with coffees, luxury hot chocolates, cinnamon and cardamom buns. All in all simply one of the best guided tours we have ever experienced. Once again a BIG thank-you to Cotton; you made us feel like family!

A Delayed but Good Tour - We met our group at the market where we were to meet our guide. There were 10 of us, however, no guide. We waiting for 15 to 20 minutes and then one of our group members called the number on the reservation. Apparently, our guide was unable to make it, however, no one informed us. We were asked to change the time to 2 PM for our tour but none of us wanted to wait that long. After several phone calls, I spoke to the person in charge and requested that he make arrangements for us to wait for the replacement guide at the coffee shop. He finally agreed. Our guide showed up an hour later. Cotton turned out to be a very knowledge guide and completed the tour with us. Although we were scheduled to tour for about 4 hours, our tour was about 3 hours long. Cotton did a great job with the tour, and we got to see quite a bit of the city with a great narrative about the various sites. All in all it was a good tour.

Not worth it - they didn't even show up! - Incredibly disappointed! We booked this tour for the 1st of January 2025 as we were wanting to do something in Stockholm despite the New Year. Nordic Food Walk was advertised as being available on this day, so we thought 'Why not?'. We paid and arrived ON TIME at 10am at the Östermalms Food Hall as indicated in their booking confirmation. We waited until 10:30am with no guide in site. It was then that we noticed a sign next to the hall indicating that it was closed (as were most other places in Stockholm). I attempted to contact the tour guides and have STILL had no response. This is absolutely appalling - I want my money back!
