Kayaking is the best way to explore the heart of Stockholm Archipelago. Vaxholm is known as a capital of archipelago. Let us share with you some of our favourite places and hidden gems. Experience outstanding nature and plenty of wildlife. Discover archipelago with thousands of islands, islet and skerries by kayak! It’s a perfect destination for kayaking day trip.
What to take for kayaking: appropriate outdoor clothing for the weather, a rain jacket, sandals, change of clothes if you get wet, sun protection, sunglasses or eyeglasses secured with straps, swimwear and towel if you wish to take a bath.
- Minimum height: 1.50 m Maximum height: 1.95 m Maximum weight: 110 kg
- Good physical condition and ability to swim
- Every child has to be accompanied by an adult (1 child per adult)

Please make sure to arrive at least 5 minutes before meeting time. Tours and courses have to run when scheduled. Take subway T14 towards Mörby Centrum, on station Danderyds sjukhus go to bus terminal F and switch to bus 670. Our nearest bus stop is 100m away and is called Engarn.

Amazing experience - Excellent trip with Florian! The trip was safe, fun and he was a great guide. It was a great workout. All safety precautions are taken and I felt safe at all times. The lunch picnic was so great and Swedish food was excellent. Only thing I would point out is this site is about 30-45 min outside of Stockholm so it's a bit of travel. Uber is not an option out there, but there's a bus station across the street and you can tap-pay the bus with any credit card.

Favorite part of Sweden trip - This was such a great experience. Our tour guide was amazing. He was patient calm and very knowledgeable about the land. We felt safe and in good hands the whole time. The views were unbelievable and we throughly enjoyed our fika break! Would absolutely do this trip again!

Jessica fantastic guide - The tour was simply fantastic! Jessica, our guide, was exceptional: very kind, incredibly helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. She took us on a beautiful route and shared many interesting facts about Sweden. I highly recommend this guide!

A highlight of our trip to Sweden. - This was a real highlight of our trip to Stockholm. We had a terrific tour of the Archipelago around Vaxholm, with Fika, and very much enjoyed spending time with our guide Linnea. The centre also has a Sauna which we very much enjoyed. Highly recommended.

Highlight of our Trip to Scandinavia - I will never forget this kayak trip for as long as I live. The Outfitters kindly picked us up at the ferry dock and delivered us back when our kayak trip was over. Our guide Linnea was knowledgeable kind and patient with us. I had. I idea these would be sea kayaks on the actual Baltic Sea, but the trips between islands were not long and were very exciting. I would highly recommend this activity. So far it’s been the highlight of our trip to Scandinavia.

Lasting Memories in the Stunning Stockholm Archipelago! - My husband and I recently went on a kayak tour with Skargardens Kanotcenter Kayaks & Outdoor in the stunning Stockholm archipelago, and it was a fantastic experience! Our tour guide, Jessica, was incredible. The scenery was breathtaking, and we enjoyed a delightful Fika break on a charming little island. The team even took photos for us so we could fully immerse ourselves in the adventure. Although we encountered a fierce storm with hail and lightning on our return, Jessica's professionalism and care ensured our safety and comfort throughout. The tour concluded with a warm, relaxing sauna session. This tour is perfect for both beginners and experts. We are in our mid-fifties and have limited kayaking experience. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience - Highlight of the trip to Stockholm! Stunningly beautiful trip. The guide was knowledgeable -- spoke both English and German (in addition to native Swedish) to accommodate members of our small group. 100% recommend! (water shoes were helpful, as they recommend, but it was possible to do the tour without getting wet feet).

You have to wash your kayak - Very good
But be prepared to wash your kayak after your travel. Not very cool when you’ve paid a good price and didn’t know about it.
