Fun day out tasting wines - Our tour guide was Marlene from Luhambo Tours who was super knowledgeable about wine, local history and had a fantastic sense of humour. Also helped that she was a massive rugby fan! We visited4 great vineyards, had a super lunch in the Postcard Cafe and chatted and laughed all day - super day out - many thanks. Mike, Paul & Gerry

A curated wine experience - We had a lovely time wine tasting with Marlene, our guide. She was very knowledgeable about wines and tailored the experience to our request for white wines and scenic views. The staff of the four wineries were all attentive, helpful and welcoming. And some were so generous with their tastings we couldn't finish them all. Rainbow's End was beautiful.

Brilliant Time - This was an absolutely wonderful experience. To begin with, we had the fabulous Marlene as our guide. She was so personable and really made sure we not only had a great day, but that our preferences for wines was prioritized and that the overall tour was top notch. We left feeling like mini experts on chenin blanc! Can not say enough about the beautiful wineries, scenery, and great time that we had. Choose this trip and ask for Marlene!

Luhambo Wine and Safari Tours - South Africa - Luhambo Tours get our highest recommendation for wine tours and safari planning. We were two couples on a month-long holiday in South Africa. We conceived this trip based on wanting to go on safaris. We are also wine lovers and had every intention of spending a week or so in the South Africa wine regions. We planned to do two safaris in different parks, one at the front end and one on the back end of our trip. The wine week would be in the middle of our trip, along with other South Africa destinations. We quickly became overwhelmed in our safari research. We were having trouble trying to select the safari lodges and the safari parks. As there were simply too many to choose from. Not to mention the coordination of flights and van drivers from cities to remote airstrips or regional airports. Initially, we decided to reach out to Luhambo Tours for our wine tours. We learned they organize both wine tours and safaris. Best decision ever! I should have said we never use agents in our travel plans. We are all world travelers and always organize trips on our own. But the safari coordination was overwhelming, and we needed a local expert to help us choose wisely. We also wanted a private driver and van for our three days of wine tours. Our planning experience started with Cedric organizing three perfect days of wine tasting. The winery choices were perfect. Cedric organized a three-day itinerary based on preliminary information provided before our trip started. As Cedric got to know us, in the 3 days of our tours, he adapted his plans based on our preferences. He read us well. The wine tours we exceptional, as were the lunch spots he recommended. Cedric is intimately familiar with the wines of that region. Frankly, he knows where the good stuff and the best scenery are. Cedric was always early picking us up, always helpful, good sense of humor and knowledgeable. We highly recommend Cedric and Luhambo Tour for your South Africa wine tours. Cedric introduced us to Chantel (Luhambo Tours) to organize our safari experiences. Chantel listened to our safari desires and lodging preferences. She knew what to recommend, as she had visited many of the lodges and had firsthand experience. After a few proposed options, we settled on Jaci’s Safari Lodge and their sister lodge, Jaci’s Sabi House. We booked private experiences and lodging which dramatically enhanced our safari experiences. She also coordinated our flights and road transportation, making the coordination seamless for our safari bookings. During our month-long trip Chantel would reach out to us and see how our trip was going. She took that opportunity to confirm our transportation at each transition point of the trip. I cannot express how impressed and pleased we were with her service and her safari choices. Chantel has our highest recommendation.

Awesome experience! - Marlene did a great job! We visited 4 vineyards. All were different, in different lovely settings and offering a variety of interesting wines. Our lunch stop was charming and delicious. After some casual conversation, one topic leading to another….Marlene took us to her jewelry wholesalers office where we purchased something quite special so I will always remember this day!

Wine tasting in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek - Our 3 day wine tour with Marlene was wonderful, she was knowledgeable and fun to be with. She took us to some amazing Estates and we had lovely wines with pairing. Our accommodations were delightful at the Le Petit Paris, and all of the restaurants Marlene recommended were superb. I would highly recommend this company for wine tours.

10/10 would love to do it again! - This guided wine tour was amazing! Marlene was very knowledgeable and started explaining different manufacturing techniques for wine already on the way to the first place. The 4 places we visited were different from each other but all very good. The wines she chose for us to try or reccomendation she gave were perfect and we could have spent all day already at the second place. The time flew by and we can say this was definitely our personal highlight in Cap Town!

Excellent tour! Do not hesitate to book! - We (2 couples) recently participated in both tours Luhambo offers. One to the Stellenbosch region and one to the Cape of Good Hope and the Constantia Wine region. We booked with Cedric (the owner) and he gave excellent recommendations on the vineyards to visit. Marlene was our guide and she was exceptional. Her years of experience as a guide showed, from her knowledge of wine tasting and her knowledge of the many areas we visited along the way. There was not a dull moment with Marlene. The vehicle could use an upgrade but overall, the quality of the tour outweighed this superficial issue.
