We would definitely book the Stavanger Hop-On Hop-Off tour again. Picked us up right outside the cruise boat gangway and took us on an extended trip around the city.
Easy to convert the voucher to tickets. The overall narration on the bus was good. Weather was less than perfect but we remained dry and comfortable on the coach. Really easy to get to the Viking Museum and other places in the city.

EASY WAY TO SIGHTSEE - My dad doesn't walk well so we thought this would be an easy way to get around town. Views are better from up top. But being able to ride with him, and then stay on to go and see what I wanted was convenient Stopped at the all the sites to see locally. Not 5 because one time I was trying to get off the bus and they closed the doors on me.

Waste of money - A stop from our cruise ship at stavanger gave us a few hours to explore. We have used the hop on hop off buses many times & thought we would do it again as we have always found them useful & informative. Not this time, we felt it really was a waste of time & money that was backed up by others we spoke to on the ship afterwards. The bus doubles back on itself around the small roads showing repeated views. I would recommend getting a walking map at a fraction of the price I'm sure you would see just as much!

Busses from another service looked just like the City Sightseeing Hop-On Hop-off. Repeatedly we were told we were on the wrong bus. So very disappointed. This happened in Stavanger, Copenhagen, and Stockholm.
