A Truly Unforgettable Experience with Renata! - Renata was hands down the best tour guide we could have asked for. Not only is she a true "carioca da gema," but her deep knowledge of Brazilian history and world events was a huge bonus. She went far beyond just being a Tijuca tour guide; she shared amazing tips on where to explore in Rio, and now my husband and I are eager to discover other parts of Brazil with the insights she shared with us. We honestly wish she could be with us on our next adventure! Renata made our hike not only fun but exciting, and her enthusiasm was contagious. Oh, and she's also an incredible photographer! She gave us helpful tips on capturing the perfect shots along the trail, so make sure to have your camera ready! She truly went the extra mile by dropping us off in Santa Teresa, where we enjoyed one of the best feijoadas from Minas. We definitely had enough energy to keep going after that! We’re already looking forward to returning to Rio, and Renata, you made our day so special. If you’re ever in Virginia, we would be more than happy to be your guides! Thank you for everything, Renata!

Great hike with fantastic views at the top! - Our family of four (including our 11-year-old) had a great time on this hike with Jungle Me Hiking and Trekking Eco Tours during our recent trip to Rio. Everything from booking to pickup was smooth and no-stress —quick email responses, clear instructions, and an on-time pickup. The hike itself was moderate and very manageable for our group. We climbed about 600 feet through tropical forest -- just the right mix of effort and enjoyment, and at the top, we were rewarded with stunning views of the ocean and mountains. Seriously, worth every step! Our guide, Tito, was excellent. Super friendly, spoke great English, and had deep knowledge of Brazilian history and economics, giving us a whole new insight into this fascinating country. If you're in Rio and want a guided hike that’s both fun and insightful, we highly recommend Jungle Me and Tito!

The other fauna of Rio - Another vision of Rio de Janeiro in this forest in the heart of the city. A little history (very well explained) and it is an easy hike where you can discover the protected flora and fauna of Rio. Exciting

How to enjoy Rio's rainforests in a small group and learn something "en passant" - This has been a fantastic hike through Tijuka Parc. Our guide, Renata, was a dynamic and knowledgeable person, who shared a lot of insides about the nature, but also about the history of Brazil and this particular parc with us. We were a small group and it felt almost like a family excursion. While it was not too physically demanding, it clearly felt like doing some physical activity. I highly recommend the company and the guide! Thanks for the great time spent together.
