- Botanical Garden - After your pick up from your hotel, we will head up to the Botanical Garden founded in 1808, its collection holds 9000 samples of 1500 species. The JBRJ is famous for the exuberance and scientific importance of its plant collections, as well as the beauty of its landscapes. Its bicentennial history is expressed in its monuments, buildings and works of art. On foot or by electric cart, visitors can stroll along the alleys and see plants from different parts of the world, visit the greenhouses (Orchids, Bromeliads, Ferns, Insectivorous Plants) and thematic gardens and collections, such as the Japanese Garden and the Medicinal plants.

Fantastic photos and tours every single time - This is actually the second experience I booked with Renata. I did the Christ the Redeemer with her last year and knew when I got back to Rio that I'd need more photos. I contacted her and asked her to do the Parque Lage and Botanical garden tour WITH the Selaron steps and she accommodated me. The photos are stunning! But more than that, she knew the history around each place and was great company. I feel super comfortable with her and will likely be doing more photo tours with her on future trips to Rio. The pick up and drop off service is perfect for me as I'm also working and it saves so much on time. If you're in Rio, you definitely want great photos at these iconic places. Book with Renata!

Best tour of Rio - If you go to Rio then Renate your guide. She is amazing, knows everything about Rio, and takes amazing photos during the tour. She can help you with anything you need and has a beautiful house where you could stay. I go back to her very often and we became good friends. Very recomendable.

Fun and educational - Renata, the tout guide and photographer is wonderful. She related the historical and cultural significance of the Park Lagre and the Botanical Gardens in an entertaining way. We are not used to being photographed professionally, and Renata made us feel comfortable and natural. We highly recommend her and this tour.

Lovely tour with amazing pictures! - Renata is phenomenal!!!!! She is extremely professional with an awesome sense of humour and is extremely knowledgeable! My husband and I enjoyed touring Parque Lage and the botanical gardens with her and she provided us with beautiful pictures after. It felt like a friend was taking you around Rio and making sure you have gorgeous pictures also. Highly recommend Renata!!!! She picks you up from your hotel making it an extremely low stress activity.

Great experience and photos! - Renata did a great job on our tour and photographs! She was very thorough, ensured we got to see all the important sites and took abundant photos of our group. She is very knowledgeable, kind and understanding, I definitely recommend her and this tour in the future!

Rio de Janeiro Botanical Gardens - The Botanical Gardens and Lage Park are a must for anyone visiting Rio. We were very impressed by the natural beauty existing in the heart of the city and will never forget the superb flora and astonishing wild life (monkeys, tucans, turtles and many more). We highly appreciate Renata's efforts to make the tour as pleasant as possible and value the comprehensive information she provided on the history of Brazil, Rio's landscapes and the interesting sites we visited: the Botanical Gardens and Lage Park. At the end of the tour we received from our guide a set of very beautiful pictures to remember us of the wonderful places we visited. Highly recommend this tour.

We were very pleased with the tour... - <p>We were very pleased with the tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant. In addition to the scheduled sites, she gave us a bit of a city tour. She also took care of the photography and sent us the best of the pictures. All in all, it was a great tour.</p>

Renata was waiting for us in the... - <p>Renata was waiting for us in the hotel lobby as our port to hotel transfer did a no-show. She was patient, polite and did what she could to help us get out of a state of chaos. The bus that took us to the botanical garden was large and comfortable. On our way, Renata's appreciation for Rio exuded as she explained the uniqueness of Rio. Although we had a 90 year old grandma, a senior that required wheelchair assistance and 2 kids ages 8 and 3, everyone had a relaxing time. Lastly, we received a DVD the following day as promised. I would recommend her high caliber service to anyone.</p>
