Book this tour!! - Arthur was the best!! Personal, kind, and catered the tour to our interests. A packed day in Rio hitting very memorable sights! Photo ops at every turn. We highly recommend this private tour for you and small groups who want to get a full taste of Rio. Do it early in your trip so you can explore areas further. Cheers!

The best tour guide that I ever had! - We had an amazing experience! Arthur and Jorge (the driver) were with us for two days showing us around Rio. Arthur is very well educated and very knowledgable individual and he truly wants you to have the best experience possible and ensure your safety. He only kept surprising us with the amount of knowledge that he has and all the fun facts that he would share with you that would go even beyond Rio. We really enjoyed our time and I highly recommend doing the sunrise tour it’s incredible! And one of many hidden talents that Arthur has is photography he is an amaaaaazing photographer so I guarantee you epic pics!

He will give tips (how to take pictures ), hacks (Avoid crowds) and great pictures (he’s a GREAT photographer), all included in the price you’re paying so it’s 100% worth it

Great private tour in Rio w tour guide and driver - Great private tour in Rio by Arthur. Started the day off very early in the morning getting picked up by an air-conditioned car at my AirBnB location by the driver and Arthur. He provided snacks and water which is a must on a long day tour. We first went to Christ of Redeemer to beat the crowds of thr tourist and he took great photos/videos throughout the whole tour. Then went to other popular tourist spots around the area in Santa Teresa, the famous Library, and the SugarLoaf mountain. An overall great must-do tour in Rio. Don't hesitate to book this tour, because it's definitely worth it. Thanks again Arthur!

An spetacular day in Rio - This tour was amazing, i had a great day with this Pirate team, the driver arrived on time, the guide was super cool and gave me the best tips to enjoy the city, and he was very knowledgeable.
We went to come cool places and were able to skip the lines and avoid traffic, the guide and the driver choosed the best schedule so i got the best pics!
Christ Redeemer was great, there was just me and a couple people, i never thought that i would be able to enjoy such a beautiful view without the need of getting in a line
The car was great, super safe and top quality
We went to all places and Sugar Loaf view was stunning
The guide take me to a great steak house with the best view on the city, a good price and top quality meat

day in Rio with tour guide Arthur & driver Jorge - We had an amazing time with our tour guide Arthur and driver- Jorge! Arthur was very knowledgeable and made our day interesting, easy ( VIP tics are a must) and fun! Jorge was super nice and extremely accommodating. We felt very safe touring Rios’ Local spots and major tourist attractions. Private tour 🙌🏼

Best Bar Crawl! - Fantastic experience, Kakao our tour guide made the night unforgettable. She was very familiar with the night life, took us to a bar and we danced all night.

When we met up with... - When we met up with Arthur of pirate rio he seemed very friendly and willing to fullfill our wishes to see Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf, Seleron Steps and Copacabana beach if time. So firstly told us the Steps were closed due to Carnival as well as Copacabana beach so he took us to the forest and waterfalls which were lovely but not our request. Next we went to Sugarloaf mountain which was amazing with stunning views. Then he took us to Assador Restaurant which cost us £160 for 2 people for lunch which we thought was a bit expensive and not happy about. When we asked about going to Christ the Redeemer Arthur told us it was too busy to go and there wasn't time. He told us he would reserve tickets for us before the trip and bring card to pay for them on the day. Turned out he hadn't reserved any tickets and we didn't go. He did take us to Copacabana beach which was very hot and busy so we just walked part of the black and white pavement. Really unhappy about our trip, we hadn't achieved what we paid for, the car we went in was in a dangerous condition. The trim around the back offside door on the inside had come out of place and there was a lot of road noise and my wife could see a lot of road and daylight around the door. We wish we had gone on the tour organised by Azamara Cruises as they had managed to do all of the things listed on the trip but we hadn't. Feel very tempted to request a fefund but we haven't. We had heard such good things about Viator but were very very disappointed by our experience.
