- To avoid crowds at Christ the Redeemer, we recommend starting the tour as early as possible. Our earliest time is 6:30am.
- To watch the stunning sunset from Sugar Loaf Mountain, we recommend starting the tour at 11:30am or later.
- The “Real Gabinete Português de Leitura (Royal Portuguese Reading Room) is not open on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. We will visit another attraction on those days.
- If you are staying at Barra da Tijuca and Recreio, we recommend starting your tour at 6:30 AM to avoid heavy traffic and experience the best of Rio.
- We recommend installing Whatsapp Messenger app in your phone when coming to Brazil. It’s very popular here and it will make your communication much easier. It’s a free app, available on both Play Store (Android) and Apple Store (iPhones).

Best tour ever. - Fabiana was an outstanding host. She was incredibly knowledgeable about RIO history. We felt like we toured the city with a long life friend. We toured the Christ of the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf.

Fantastic trip! Memories made for a lefetime! - This was an amazing tour! Christ the Redeemer and the view of Rio was breathtaking! Sugarlioaf Mountain and the Selonas steps were also fantastic! Our guide Higor also made a special quick stop at the Copacabana so we could see it. Higor made this so memorable for us. He went out of his way to make recommendations so we would get the most of our tour. I"ve benn on many tours, but Higor truly is one of the best there is. If you are in Rio, take this tour!!! You'll leave happy and fulfilled.

Unforgettable day in Rio with Higor - I was contacted the night before to confirm pick up. Our guide Higor and driver Johnny were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. They tailored the excursion to what I had in mind for the day and sprinkled suggestions that we appreciated. We did the Redeemer, SugarLoaf, Santa Theresa, Escadaria Selaron, Murala from Olympics by Kobra, and the Arcos da Lapa. We would be dropped off and picked up with ease. Higor made lunch reservations and even suggestions for dinner later at night that were fantastic. Highly recommend Team Higor-Johnny for an unforgettable experience.

Wonderful tour of Rio - Higo was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable about Rio. Made sure he fulfilled all our requests. Pick up and drop off at our hotel was seamless. We stopped at a lovely place for a snack of cheese buns and an Acai smoothie, both delicious! We pre-purchased our tickets for both Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redeemer, so we were able to head to the front of the lines
Higo made the tour of this vibrant city special.
