Pedra da Gavea hike/climb with Rio Natural Ecotoursim - Came to Rio on a last-minute business trip and only had the weekend to play. As an avid hiker, wanted to hike somewhere with great views and chose Pedra da Gavea - an epic hike with 360 views of Rio! I'd highly recommend going with Rio Natural Ecotourism, a small hiking touring company. Ronald Bulha, our guide, was experienced, knowledgeable about the history of what we were seeing, kind and patient, guiding each of us through the small technical portion of the hike. The experience exceeded my expectations and look forward to coming back and hiking again with them.

Amazing hike - Would definitely recommend - I really loved the Pedra da Gávea hike. Our guide was very competent, spoke good english (which isn't always the case) and was always there to help, answer questions and take the best pictures for us. I recommend the hike to anyone which is physically able to hike a lot. It is the best view you can get of Rio de Janeiro!

Challenging, Rewarding, Beautiful Hike - Often wonder whether guides are necessary for hiking we’ll know trails. This trip was definitely made awesome with the help of our guide Rafael, an experienced outdoor guide who helped a group of variable ability make it to the top and back including basic climbing and rappelling sections towards the top. Weather was perfect and the views outstanding at the summit. Think carefully about whether to take this in bad weather/visibility. The trails and wooden bridges slick and the going dangerous. Plus the views would not be there to reward your effort;)

Most amazing thing I’ve done so far! - “This experience was amazing! Honestly I didn’t know what I was up against but no regrets at all. I wouldn’t change it for the world and it’s a “must” thing to do. The tour guides were absolutely awesome! Very professional and supported us all the way. Shoutouts to the Rio Natural Ecotourism Tour group.”

Beautiful view! - Beautiful hiking and an amazing view. Strongly recommend to do it in a week day. We went on Saturday and was really crowded. Took much longer than expected. Need to be in good shape to complete the trekking.
