Terrific guide for our touring - We booked an entire day with Daniel for our touring. He was our guide and driver. He showed up at our hotel on time at 8 am. The first stop was at Christ the redeemer. It is better to start early so you miss the crowds. I was glad he suggested we start at 8 am and not 9am like I had planned. This place opens at 7:30 am my suggestion is that you be picked up at 7:30 am to be there by 8 am to avoid the lines. Daniel helped us navigate thru the crowds and it was super crowded at 8:30 am when we arrived Lines to go up to the top was reasonable short but at the top it was crowded. Amazing experience After that we went to Sugarloaf Make sure you buy the fast pass so you don’t have to wait in line. Worth every penny We went right up and passed all lines like we were royalty After we saw Sugarloaf we were done sightseeing for the day. Just those two places took us about five hours. It Daniel had other items planned out if we wanted to continue I would definitely recommend him as a guide. He is licensed and knowledgeable

Great Guide to a Great City - I recommend hiring the services of Daniel Cabral for your private visit to Rio. He is a great Guide with extensive knowledge of the city and its surroundings, speaks excellent Spanish and organizes the visit according to your tastes and needs. You can also arrange transfers from the airport. He perfectly adapted our trip according to the weather, and, although we had no luck in time, we could enjoy a panorama practically clear from the Sugar Loaf and the Christ the Redeemer at the best time of the day. You always find yourself safe by their side, even when visiting the favela, for me, a must in Rio. Finally, we loved their gastronomic recommendations. My children still remember the meat we ate in the two restaurants we ate, especially the Novo Visual, at the end of the Rocinha favela, after a spectacular motorbike climb and enlivened with incredible live Brazilian music. A top of our trip through Brazil.

Gus Guia, great guide - Daniel was prompt to return texts via WhatsApp . He listened to our list of sites that we would like to visit while in Rio for two days. He set up a schedule and recommended tours of one and a half days. Well planned out to see the sites without wearing us out. He was not able to personally do the tour due to scheduling conflicts but provided us with his friend and local guide, Gus Guia. Gus is a terrific local guide who spoke English, as well as, spent some years living in the US. Good communications and prompt on time. Picked us up at our hotel at assigned time, drove us to locations, instructed us wear to go or wait, personally guided us thru most sites, and had good personal touch to tour. We were both happy for his knowledge, insight, humor, and recommendations. I am sure Daniel would have provided excellent service too.

Danny is a treasure! - We were so lucky to have Daniel Cabral as our tour guide for 3 days in Rio. Danny is truly an exceptional combination of expertise and energy! Any question/topic we had re: Rio or Brazil, related to the day’s activities or not, revealed how totally knowledgeable Danny is about Rio’s history, culture, geography, and of course the sights and attractions we visited. More importantly, he is wonderfully good-natured and flexible, so well-attuned to our specific interests throughout our several days together, and therefore could beautifully customize our days and our overall experience, including making many wonderful recommendations for things to do when we were not with him (and for when we went on to Sao Paulo for the next phase of our trip). We always felt extremely safe and well-prepared for the range of settings we were in, as Danny grew up in Rio and knows the true fabric of the city and its layers of sub-cultures across various neighborhoods. Not surprisingly, he seemed to have friends everywhere we went! Probably the best thing about our experience with Danny was his deep pride for the city of Rio and his joy in sharing it with others, which made a spectacular vacation somehow more special.

Nice friendly guide - Daniel was a nice guide, very friendly, fluid in Spanish. Always on time and ready to give suggestions to make the most out of out visit to Rio. Although very knowledgeable we would have appreciated him being more proactive in telling us more about the history of Rio and Brasil.
