Highlight of the Trip! Absolutely worth the hike! - The tour will definitely be one of the biggest highlights of your trip. The forest was amazing, and the caves and waterfalls were absolutely worth the brief hike. Our tour guide, Bruno, was very well-versed with the area as well as the history of Rio and Brazil itself. His charismatic energy and humor made the trip even better for us and the rest of the group. I highly recommend scheduling this tour if you are to visit Rio.

Go with Edwardo!! - if you want serious hiking, don’t go on this trip. If you want to walk through forest, including some climbing – it does take some effort, but not for super long – and crouch into a large cave and learn a lot about the history of the area, the flora and fauna, then go with Edwardo. You might even see some monkeys, some toucans and a quati! He will make sure you get good pictures and are well taken care of. BTW, the waterfall is chilly, but refreshing!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY - BEWARE DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!I booked this trip thinking that they would pick me up from the hotel that I requested however, I was sent an unexpected Email the night of the trip stating that they could not pick me up at my hotel and that I had to meet them at some random Grocery store 20 miles away from my hotel. This was terribly inconvenient and had I known that they could not pick me up from my hotel. I would’ve never booked this trip. They should warn you about this before you book it!!! I have put in a request for a refund and they have yet to respond. Beware do not book with this company. If I could give them zero stars, I would!!!
