GREAT DAY OUT so long as you read the Itinerary and fine print you will have no problems =) - It is important to make sure you read the actual itinerary of this trip. Some of the info in the basic description isn't quite 100% what happens however if you read the itinerary that is very accurate. Boat trip out to Blue Lagoon for bout an hour of free time for either swimming or walking around on the Comino Island. Along this journey the boat pulls in to Crystal Lagoon for some quick photos only. After your stop at Blue Lagoon you get taken to Gozo where a transfer bus will take you to either a beach on Gozo or up to the Old Town. Once in this location your exploring is up to you, it is not a guided tour, it is also then your responsibility to get back to the bus and you are then taken back to the boat and taken back home. So long as you are aware of all of this and are happy with that as an itinerary then it's a great day out. Points to note: -If you elect to go to Old Town you will only have 1 swimming spot which is Blue Lagoon -At Blue Lagoon you do not have free reign to swim wherever, you either swim right next to the boat where they set up the slide, or you go to the small crowded beach on the island. This is the way it is for all the different boat tours it's just how they run the place. -You do need to go online and get a Blue Lagoon entry pass which is free before you depart. The coast guard people make everyone download this pass even if you are intending to stay on the boat at Blue Lagoon so just do that before you go -Boat Leaves from jetty which is a 1 hour bus or about 40min taxi from Valleta We really enjoyed our day, our boat was not full which was nice but I would still recommend arriving at the meeting point, checking in and getting your wrist bands at least 45minutes before departure if you want to be sitting on the top of the boat. At Blue Lagoon the slide from the boat was great fun and our boat was clearly the envy of many others, we also hoped off and got a cocktail in a pineapple which was costly but a fun novelty. Make sure you put your pineapple in the bins on the Island though as they don't want them on the boat. At Gozo we went to the Old Town and went straight to explore the fortress, there was plenty of time for this and a cool drink then we wandered through the town and got dinner before heading back to the boat. Overall it was a very pleasant day and easy enough to navigate where we needed to be. When we first arrived at the jetty you just walk out to where the boats are actually departing from to check in, don't wait with the big crowd at the ticket office by the road, or at least that's how it was for us.

Complete day! - Amazing trip, such good value for money. The tour guides on the boat were very entertaining and informative. Plenty of time to have a short beach trip at the Blue Lagoon, and a good amount of time to explore Gozo. Not only that but the exploration of the caves was just divine. Such a good experience, and cannot boast enough about how cheap it all was!

Excursion to do - Great swimming experience in the Blue Lagoon. Beautiful views on board the boat. Visit Victoria when stopping on Gozo enough to take a tour of the city. Everything is well organized so as not to waste time on the day. Departure at 9am in the morning return around 3:30pm for us perfect not to get too hot and enjoy the sun well. Value for money at the top.

Great $ Unforgettable Experience Experience but NO Comino - BIG THING TO NOTE: the boat did not technically dock at comino. This reservation specially listed going to comino after gozo for an hour and you could stay on the boat or sightsee. We NEVER went after gozo we went back to land with some sight stops. I get that we technically went to comino when we went to blue lagoon but the itinerary specially said comino stop and the booking advertised it. I wasn’t able to ask anyone why we didn’t go/if the trip was supposed to be this. However the rest of the boat tour was very nice just l just wanted to note that. The boat was clean and spacious, you’ll have to sit next to people but definitely space for bags. Food is limited to burgers, salads, ice cream, so I’d suggest bringing food and water if you have dietary restrictions. I’d also say arrive earlier than the meeting time because people will line up for the seats on top deck. It should be known as well that they cover the deck after gozo because we go back. There was an audio tour as well which was unexpected, but described each place we passed and the history behind it so pretty cool! Arrival at blue lagoon is around 10am for anyone that wants to know and it wasn’t to busy it definitely was not empty like 8/9am but it was not crowded/unwalkable like it gets at 12pm.

Blue groto and comino - I love the trip and the attention , I just hope the stop of the blue lagoon was too short!! But I really enjoy it . Comino Island was beautiful unfortunately it was too hot to climb and see the views and the top of the city! Otherwise it was a beautiful day ! Well otginazised and you can choose to have beach all day longl ! Or visit the town.

Okay, but there are better options. - A couple of stops were cut from the planned itinerary without any communication during the tour. Messy management with people arguing for seats without any orientation or basic rules.

Dont go READ my proper itinerary - £150 for a boat trip to gozo is ridiculous not what I expected, Im a very open minded person but £150 for this is a rip off! Long story short, you get on the boat at 9am and arrive at the blue lagoon-you have approx 1hr to swim here, you then sail from the blue lagoon to gozo where you get off and can either choose a bus to go site seeing or you choose a bus and go to Ramla beach, we chose the beach option where you have only 2hrs only to enjoy, you then get back on the bus which takes you back to your boat and sails back to malta to drop you off where you started. What iv Basically paid for is a boat ride to gozo to sit on a beach for 2hrs with a 1hr stop at blue lagoon, if they had worded it like this in the description I certainly wouldn’t have paid £150 to go! Oh and the Boat is over crowded, with no where to sit outside to enjoy the views as you sail along, all in all a Disappointing day for £150

To be avoided - Friendly but poorly trained cabin crew. Boat full of people to make it impossible to relax. Preparation of drinks let's move on Delayed departure and hasty during navigation and various stops. The stop at Blu Lagoon was like ending up in a Dante's hellish group. A real open-air anthill, thousands of people in the water, on the cliffs and in the 10sqm of beach (which you can not reach if the cabin crew does not provide you with a pass first), dirt and garbage everywhere, both between the rocks and in the water. Obviously after 5 minutes we literally ran away and got back on board to not be in that word that I can not write. During the stop was made available the slide to dive into the water but the situation became unlivable because of the tourists uk and fr satanate to use the slide or dive directly from the parapet of the deck of the boat (real zoo performances). Docked in Gozo we opt for the bus that leads to Ramla bay (another 5€ wasted to add to the previous 40€). They let us get on the wreck of a 1980s bus, without air conditioning and without a door, the driver with speech problems that I can’t write or maybe just word that I can’t write who knows what word that I can’t write synthetically, drove as if it were in Need-for-Speed, insulting any motorist he crossed along the way (truly something surreal). Arrived in Ramla bay we find ourselves in front of a sandy beach / red earth dirty with garbage and strewn with cigarette butts. Taking a bath was impossible, water not exactly crystal clear but especially in the water was full of boulders that made it impossible to access without breaking a foot or any other part of the body. Escaped also from this pseudo beach we stop at the kiosk where a salt coffee (it was really salty) costs 2.50€. We get back on the bus of hope that takes us back to the dock to resume the transport word that I can not write and escape definitively.
