Beautiful aquarium - Great aquarium with several types of fish. The sharks swim above you. Restaurant next door. Great activity in bad weather. Highly recommended with children. Enough space to drive me through the stroller.

Wonderful Gem - Well worth the trip! Having been to Cape Town’s aquarium, I was still impressed! Beautifully exhibited with loads of old artefacts and a wide selection of species.

Happen Chance - Went here on cool day. Had intended to go to car museum but it was shut due to holiday. Thoroughly enjoyed this. Plenty to see. Much bigger inside than seems from outside. While seemed busy at entrance once inside no problem in seeing tanks. The dive in a “submarine” experience was fun. We picked up a talk which was worth listening to. Good value for money.

Nice, a little small for what it costs - It was my first time at an aquarium. It was very nice to see so many different species of fish. Unfortunately I couldn’t experience going underwater with the elevator because I’m claustrophobic. I have to say that when you go out you feel a bit dizzy, maybe it will be looking at the water for a while. The price I think is a bit high because anyway the aquarium is not very big and I expected to see the sharks a bit bigger. Overall however it is an experience to do

Recommended stop for families, two hours of leisure and culture for children , for adults take advantage of the barRestaurant - Small but well done, nice reproductions of the environments with pieces of aircraft wrecks and ships. Impressive experience in the simulator , very realistic .

Rude - It is a lovely place. Had a talk about sharks which was interesting. Although, the customers are the most vile and rude people I have ever come across. One staff member snatched a ticket out of my son’s hand and pushed him to one side. He was quite rude afterwards as well. Some locals in Malta are quite pleasant but there is a definite norm of being quite aggressive in the Maltese culture.

Aquarium 3/5 - Quite interesting, but not big enough for national aquarium. Put the amount of price they should offer more. In general still worth visiting.

Malta Aquarium - A longish journey from Valletta and rather disappointing when you arrive. What is there is well presented but nothing is particularly exciting. Only two small Sharks liven things up. Being extremely crowded on our visit didn't help. On the plus side the restaurant served nice food at a reasonable price with pleasant service.

it falls short... - Compared to other European aquariums (for instance the one in Lisbon, which is truly formidable), this place is quite… modest. Which is in direct contradiction with some elements of its staff - who, I assume, are students, scientists or whatever, in the maritime filed at hand -, and who are rigid, arrogant, full of themselves. Border-line impolite. Get over yourselves, guys (the ones of that type which I encountered during our visit, were all males…) Who do you think you are, to treat people like that ? But I assume that you behave better, with fish... The universe is larger than your aquatic world. I wish you, with age, to understand that. “There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy” … (The dude at the reception-cash was not like that, btw. Unlike the ones assigned to operate the restaurant…) Kids will have fun, though.
