Would thoroughly recommend - Crossed by ferry. Bus was waiting and we sat on top. You get a commentary through earphones in a choice of languages. We got off at a craft village and got back on at a later pick up. Really enjoyed it and would thoroughly recommend

A scenic trip round the island - The trip round the island was very scenic and there were places we would have liked to explore more but the roads are so narrow and the traffic so bad that we only managed to stop in Victoria because we had transport booked on the way back. In future would just take the bus to Victoria

Slow but OK if you want to see the island - Our main objectives of visiting Gozo were to see the Ggantija neolithic temples and Victoria. The bus goes to both places (Victoria twice).
We appeared reluctant to the salesman who induced us by allowing us the child fare at 15 Euros each.
The total trip took about 3 hours - we did the red route and then the blue route (the temples are on the blue route - it takes about 2-2.5 hours to get there with no hopping-off and hopping-on.
Frankly we were disappointed. The commentary was not good, often not well synchronised with what we were passing. Going through Victoria was a nightmare - a wonderful traffic jam which we had to endure twice. As a result we were about 30 minutes behind schedule.
Based on our experience, I would not have great faith in the accuracy of the timetable.
The tour did allow us to see much of Gozo and some of the winding through very narrow streets on a double decker bus were hair-raising - we thought the drivers were fantastic. However, the length of the journey was disappointing. If all you want to see is the temples, a taxi or similar would be better. The public bus services are not frequent.

Do not use Malta Sightseeing hop on hop off bus - DO NOT USE MALTA SIGHTSEEING HOP ON HOP OFF. We bought tickets and waited ages for the bus, we kept getting told bus is coming, eventually we asked for o refund, informed he couldn’t do it. When bus eventually arrived said we could get refund at Sliemma. When we got there said we could get refund at kiosk, felt a bit dubious as once off bus we had no redressso decided to do the tour. The seats are well worn, the ear piece doesn’t work properly and can’t turn the volume up or down so commentary was negligible. Do not get this company mixed up with the red bus Hop on hop off, if it has Malta Sightseeing on the side of the bus, they are the only bus company you can use, and there are not that many of them, hence why we didn’t get off at any of the stops,not knowing when another bus would come along.

Cruisers Beware/ Don't Use This Service. - This touring experience was wrong and dishonest from the time we got off the ship and the promoter told us we'd have a convenient and complete Malta experience with multiple buses available throughout the day. Not only was it extremely limited, the buses did not stop where they're map indicated they would. Also, workers kept promising buses were soon to come and we continually waited way too long. We once waited longer than an hour. For cruisers punctuality matters.

Use the other Hop on Hop Off bus service that does not approach you once you're at the port. They HAVE to be better. :(

AVOID! AVOID! BEWARE! - In occasion of a family day trip to malta, we booked 4 tickets for the same day and rushed to the pick-up location; the website flashes a big yellow line up top saying "free cancellation". Waited 50 minutes, standing, nobody was there to represent the company, give information, no signs, no indication.
Once tired to wait, we decided to cancel the tickets and give the tour up; it is little over 1 hour after purchasing them.
The company denies the refund because we didn't cancel 24 h before the experience.
We are now trying to make the time machine work, down in the basement, for the purpose.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS
Unless you too, have a time machine in your basement.

Overcrowded, overpriced and badly managed - A complete rip-off in peak season.
We bought tickets on the ferry and, on disembarking in Gozo, boarded the red hop-on-hop-off bus waiting nearby. It was already full, with only two seats left. Within a few minutes, we were told there was a wheelchair case and that we would have to stand instead.
So we stood from the ferry terminal to the fourth stop, Victoria, on the ground floor of the bus. No view, no commentary, no sightseeing experience. There was no headphone slot where we stood, and even if there had been, the darkened glass meant there was little to see anyway. The 20-minute ride felt exactly like being on an overcrowded public bus, except that we had paid €25 for the privilege.
To make matters worse, the driver, who was repeatedly on the phone with someone, took a wrong turn and then had to spend time reversing and getting the double-decker back on route. At that point, we cut our losses and used taxis for the rest of the day.
I do not know what the rules are for these companies, or whether they are allowed to take standing passengers on a sightseeing bus, but the experience was unacceptable. A normal public bus would have cost around €2. This was frustrating, poor value and completely soured the start of our day. We also saw the same buses at various points around Gozo later in the day, and they appeared full each time.
For a service sold as a sightseeing tour, this was nothing of the sort. I would certainly expect a refund.

Truly awful experience. Unsafe - Truly awful! If I could give 0 stars I would.
Few of the headsets worked, bus was packed so couldn’t move, when we finally could, the seatbelts didn’t work. This was the day after that awful coach crash in Tenerife so we wanted to wear seatbelts. One finally latched and wouldn’t unlatch. Took two of us to get my wife free. Got off the bus early and got Bolt back to Sliema. Complained to seller. Told me to write email. Did so. They said we will give a refund in “ a few days”. Been two weeks now. Nothing.
DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. BUSES ARE UNSAFE
