Bamboo Rafting - The experience was AMAZING! It was serene, spiritual, relaxing and sheer grounding to Nature. It was our second time - Bamboo Rafting, not our last. Our captain made/gave us bamboo straws and fresh coconut water. I am blessed to have had the experience again

Relaxing Experience - We enjoyed this experience. It was relaxing when we received our foot massage from our captain to the champagne. Recommend. Please make sure to tip your captain.

Bamboo rafting - We had a wonderful time. Our guide, King, was very polite and treated us like queens. I enjoyed the limes stone foot rub and the history behind the mineral.

35th Wedding Anniversary! - Celebrated 35 yrs of marriage. Awesome trip. Took God parents along. Staff were respectful, attentive and friendly. Very helpful. Learned a lot of great things regarding Jamaica. Looking forward to visiting again! To God be the glory!

Excellent Local Jamaican Guide - Eric Gray - So relaxing, wonderful knee down leg massage w/lime stone. Good complimentary champagne & cocunut. Very scenic, clear water, beautiful forests and personalbe, informative, knowledgeable, charismatic & fun to have met guide.

Just Alright - Not quite peaceful- lots of music, bugs were the only wildlife seen, rafters going both directions
Not quite exciting- water is knee deep at most, lots of stops, I could walk as fast as we were moving
The whole trip was barely 45 minutes moving but do it for the gram if you must

Not Worth it - We recently had the opportunity to go on a bamboo rafting experience, and while the activity itself was enjoyable, there were a few drawbacks that made the overall experience less than ideal.
First, the location is quite far from the airport area if you're staying in a resort nearby. The drive to the site is nearly 1.5 to 2 hours one way, which can be tiring and takes up a significant portion of your day. We are told about this in advance so was prepared for it.
The rafting itself was also much shorter than expected. The experience was advertised as being 45 minutes, but in reality, we were only actually on the water for about 10 minutes. It was a bit disappointing, especially considering the long drive to get there.
Another point to note is that while they advertise a mile of rafting, the experience feels much shorter and broken up due to multiple stops along the way. Instead of a smooth, continuous ride, the raft frequently halted, which made the journey feel disjointed and didn't live up to the promised "mile-long" experience.
Additionally, the rafting guide was new and inexperienced, which didn't provide the most confidence. The raft wasn't even fully prepared and ready for use for customers, and despite raising this concern with the organizers, they refused to change it. They told us it was the guide’s turn, so we had no option but to continue with it, which felt quite frustrating.
While the concept of bamboo rafting itself is fun, these issues detracted from what could have been a relaxing and enjoyable experience. If you're staying near the airport, be prepared for a long journey, and don’t expect much time on the water. I'd recommend looking into other options that offer a more polished experience.
