A lake tour of dreams - The Uzungol tour was simply amazing. Zağnos Tours agency in Trabzon made it a great experience, Ali our tour guide was very friendly and very accommodating. The tour itself was very fabulous, the scenes, the stops, and the scenery, it was all worth it.

Wonderful time, definitely recommended. - Mustafa was very scheduled and friendly, the itinerary itself was well put together. We managed to see and experience a lot in a relatively short span of time, while telling us a lot about the history and contextual about what we were seeing along the way.

Day trip - Uzungol is amazing and the bus is modern. Maybe tour guide needs to explain more details about each place. We visited çay market and it was nice experience

Good place to visit. - Overall it was a good experience. Start was not brilliant as they pick up from hotel but van had problem so we wasted lot of time on workshop trying to fix van. No AC in van which make it very hot so we need to wait for replacement vehicle. Guide don't know English but he appear to be very friendly and nice. Lake was charming and they give plenty of free time to explore area. Overall fantastic experience on that day.

Worth the trip BUT call and confirm your guide speaks English. - The trip itself is great and the nature scenery and beauty of Uzungol is a definite must see. The itinerary states that you get 5 hours in Uzungol but our guide shortened that to 2.5 hours. My main complaint is around the tour guide. The tour was due to start at 9.30 and then he text me as 9.05 saying he would be there in 10 minutes and wanted to leave straight away, very short notice to cut preparation time in the morning. I also requested a tour guide who spoke English and his English was incredibly limited. 4 Arabic speaking passengers joined the tour and he directed all of his communication towards them, didn’t tell us about anything in English, didn’t communicate how long we had in each place and didn’t bother to tell us when we were leaving a certain stop and I would just find that they had all gotten back into the minibus. I confronted him about this and he tried to apologise at the very end but it was not good enough. I felt as though I was being completely ignored by the guide for the entire trip. One of the Arabic speaking passengers spoke great English and kept us informed, but that was not her job and she should not have had to translate for him. He owes her a debt and really needs to improve his language skills if he is to be trading off of tour guiding in English!

Could have beed better - please choose a different tour operator, the tour guide could have shown us the best spot to take pictures in uzungol lake, and in the wine tasting we were left on our own and just wasted our time bec we don’t know where to go and we don’t understand their language, she’s just there to tell us what time to come back and where to meet up, the place was good and breathtaking but the tour guide was not guiding

Very unprofessional! - What a horrible tour company!! I made reservations for this tour the week before and had to cancel it because I ended up having emergency surgery the day before. Of course, it was less than 24 hours notice, so I didn’t get a refund. I rescheduled the tour for today and paid for it. Got my confirmation. There has been no communication whatsoever from this company. They were supposed to pick my husband and I up at 9:30 this morning. We waited outside for 45 minutes and no one showed up. I tried calling them and messaging them with no response at all. We have taken tours all over the country and this is, by far, the most unprofessional and terrible experience we have ever had! They better give me a refund this time!

Unsatisfactory - We were not contacted by the tour operator IBK Turizm as stated in our reservation . They even didn't bother to contact us at all nor apologised although I have mentioned the hotel name while making the reservation. I had to call another tour agent to go to Uzungol as that was our last day in Trabzon and we had no chance to lose the day. So we made it with another agent. I don't recommend trip advisor to deal with such companies in order not to waste time and effort of customers.

Avoid at all cost - Our Guide did not speak English as stated in contract, 2.5hrs at the lake with nothing to do but shop or eat then while other tour were given presentations about the tea, our guide told us to sit, they brought tea and then wanted us to shop more. Ali Baba more shopping for sweets, knife shop more shopping. No old ottoman bridge as promised. There was no tour just a cramped, sweaty bus ride and lots of places to spend your moneys
