Yala Safari - We had so much fun on our safari! The guide was very knowledgeable and very good at spotting the different wildlife. He was one of the fastest and most skilled drivers we saw on the road. The food was also very delicious. Note that the park closes from 12-2 so there is some downtime after lunch. Thank you so much!

Go with the best - What an amazing day! Damith, our amazing tour guide really pulled out all the stops to ensure we had the best day. There are lots of trucks in Yala and they really aren’t all as good as Damith. We were so glad we’d researched and gone with him - he was in constant contact with other guides to know where to find the best wildlife and avoid the crowds. He really understood the animals and knew when to give them their space. Very respectful and also a great host. I thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone.

Unforgettable Safari - What an amazing experience! Thank you to our driver - Sanju - who was patient with us when we wanted to stop and take photos. He was very knowledgeable, great English and persistent when finding animals. I'm still on a high from seeing 2 leopards. I would highly recommend, we saw loads of animals (all the main ones apart from the bears I'd say) amd we left very happy! Thanks again

Great full day Yala - Early morning start, great driver and sought out the best that is possible! Ofcourse you go in the line for a leopard sighting, there were also a lot of moments were we drove around and spotted other animals whilst driving solo! Seen two leopards, two slothbears, many elephants, deers, lovely birds, jackals and many more. Also, the service and food was the best, you get a good breakfast and lunch and can ask al the questions you want.

Thrilling nature experience - The full-day safari in Yala National Park with Janaka Safari Jeep Tours was truly unforgettable, also thanks to our experienced guide and driver, Su! Su is very knowledgeable about the animals and knows exactly where to spot elephants, crocodiles, and even the elusive leopards. He tried to keep a respectful distance from other jeeps, ensuring the animals weren’t disturbed, which made the experience feel even more special. Su’s driving was both fast and safe, and we felt completely secure with him throughout the day. He took great care of everyone, was attentive to our needs, and his fun personality made the safari an absolute pleasure. If you’re looking for an amazing experience in Yala, we highly recommend a tour with Janaka Tours and Su!

Highly recommended full day tour - We had an amazing day with our Guide Su. He tought us a lot about the wildlife in Yala NP and answered all our questions. I really liked how respectful Su was towards the animals. We were lucky enough to see three leopards, crocodiles, elephants (even a baby), buffalos and so many more animals.

An experience to live at least once in a lifetime - I had a memorable day thanks to I’ G’, an experienced, professional, passionate, animal-friendly and very kind Guide. In a comfortable 4x4 let yourself be carried by this safari, count on the ‘G’ to see as many animals as possible, it does everything for! And what a pleasure to see them in their natural environment! I even saw a baby leopard! In addition, you will have a hearty breakfast and lunch with great views. I highly recommend this safari, I am really delighted!

A long and bumpy but fun day! - I'd researched a few companies to do a full day at Yala with and opted for this one after reading a few reviews. And I'm very glad I did. Su was a great guide and a consummate professional. He was full of information and very respectful of the park and its inhabitants. He gave us two options for our day, either we race around following the other jeeps or take things at our own place. We went with option 2 and are very glad we did. We saw plenty of animals, including two leopard sightings (sadly no bears) and he kept a respectable distance at all times. Su made sure to try and keep us away from the chaos of all the other jeeps as much as he could (park management makes that very difficult due to the sheer amount of vehicles, definitely far too many for one block of the park to handle). A full day is well worth it, despite the bumpy roads. And to top it all off, lunch was excellent.

Su is a very experienced guide who deserves 5 stars. - Su our Gide was very experienced and had shown and explained us a lot and guided us well through the park. He had even found a leopard eating a monkey in the bushes. As for Su, the Safari would have earned 5 points. However, the number of jeeps registered in the park is far too high. We already have experience with safaris in other countries. Since it was still raining, there were traffic jams, which I know mainly from after-hours traffic in big cities.
