We Recomend safari with Manu - Everything was perfect.Manu was on time, he picked us up from Hikkaduwa. What's more we had very good driver on Safari, thanks to him we saw Leopard from 4 meters. Manu was very helpful and he arranged other trips for us. We highly recommand this guy as a driver and a guide.

best experience - Manu in an excellent tour guide, always careful with our wishes, coming on time and helping us with a lot of things, other than tour. He took us from Colombo to Yala, from Yala to Weligama and to the airport at the end of holyday, arranged for us city tours, show us temples, farms and other attractions, recommended us restaurants. The tour was well organized and really interesting; we didn't feel when 7 hours had passed. Yala is breathtaking, is probably the best experience you can have in Sri Lanka.

Amazing day at Yala National Park - Manu and his friend are a young, motivated team giving their best to satify the clients. They picked us up at the hotel around 5 am and guided us through the national park until about 6 pm. For breakfast and lunch we stopped at the beach. Despite their young age, the two bring a lot of experience and a trained eye with them. We saw numerous elephants, buffalos, a wide variety of birds, crocodiles and, our personal highlight, two leopards. Only remark: If you want to know more about the animals, you need to ask actively as the boys are a bit reserved/shy in our opinion.

Yala Safari + Ella Tour - My experience with Manu Yala Safari tour’s team was excellent. They went the extra mile came all the way (from yala) to Colombo to pick me up from my hotel and brought me to my hotel in yala (5 hour ride back and forth, mind you). The safari in Yala itself was excellent with a knowledgeable and friendly guide. We spotted many animals, it was an incredibly good experience. Manu also took me from Yala to Ella, where we spent half a day touring the beautiful sights in Ella (Nine Arches bridge & Ravana Falls). He then drove me back to Negombo (another 5 hour drive where he then has to drive back to yala, god bless him!). Also made the effort to bring me to places where I can try the local cuisine as I had requested. Very accomodating and good. Overall, the 3 days were a very good experience. As a solo woman traveller, he made me feel safe and comfortable and really went the extra mile. If you’re going to choose a safari/tour guide, choose Manu!

Can recommend - Very cool experience, the driver was very good and knew his ways, for sure was one of the lucky ones who could see a lampart. I really recommend Manu's place as he knows how to look after you

We saw all te animals we hoped to see! - We had a very special day and saw all the animals we wanted! (Elephants, slot bear, leopard etcetera). Our drivers went their own way, only when we saw the leopard we were really standing with dozens of jeeps .. this is a shame but understandable because the leopard does not always show itself. The tour was an hour shorter, because we had already seen all the animals. Had a nice day!

Be careful with payment - Please be very careful with payment and money dealing with Manu. We had a good tour with Manu in April 2023. However, we ended up paying 50% more than agreed without willingness from Manu to return our money to us. Due to a delayed bank transaction for 50% of the tour's price, we paid Manu the full amount in cash out of trust + a generous tip. We then agreed that he would send the 50% from the bank transfer back to us once it would arrive. However, after coming back Manu has been reluctant to give us back our money. He is also not responding to messages and call. We unfortunately have to conclude that wish to keep our money. We are not fully sure if he was honest about the bank transaction not having arrived. In any case, we recommend other travellers to be careful with your payments and not trust Manu like us. Perhaps only pay in cash once the tour is fully completed.
