Best safari. Avoid jeeps always - We had an excellent safari with damith. We were one of the first jeep. All our questions were answered. We saw all kind of animals including leopard. So we highly recommend Janaka safari for anyone who wants to do safari without many other jeeps.

Excellent safari tour with great driver - Great experience, our driver picked us up right on time and got us to the gate very early in the queue
On entering the park we saw a leopard almost immediately, and then some elephants with a baby. We drove for awhile , seeing many of the animals before stopping for the breakfast which was very nice
We had a few more hours of driving, and the driver found a leopard up a tree which gave us great pictures
It was a excellent tour overall with a very good driver, would definitely reccomend

2 leopards! - We had a great experience with Janaka Safaris, thanks to our fantastic guide, Su. He went above and beyond to ensure we had incredible wildlife sightings, all while showing respect for the animals. We saw so many amazing animals and were fortunate enough to also see two of the leopards!

Great tour with an excellent tour guide - Saw every animal we had hoped for and despite the massive amount of other jeeps also had some peaceful moments. The leopard we saw even closer than we dared to hope for when one made a roadside appearance.
Shoutout to the excellent driver Su, who clearly had loads of experience and did his best to make sure we got the best trip possible. Recommended!

Highly recommended! - The driver named Su was an amazing guy anf very experienced. Lots of humor & knowledge. He did his best to create an unforgettable experience. Unfortunately we didn’t see a lot of animals but that’s not on Su! We went back to another Safari the next day and saw any kind of animals! Leopards, elephants, krokodiles, monkeys, everything! So findig all the rare animals are just ja matter of luck. But Safari with Su was extremely great

Half day safari - Extremely helpful staff who booked my taxi transfer to and from Unawatuna. This saved me a lot of stress and it was a fair price.
The meeting time is very early however, so needed due to the amount of jeeps queuing to get into the park.
Our guide Ish was exceptional and had great knowledge of the wildlife answering lots of questions. We managed to see a female leopard, elephants and lots of other wildlife.
Overall, I highly recommend this company and Ish was a great guide.

Best yala safari tour - We had the most amazing experience on this half day safari. Our driver was very knowledgeable of the park, and took us to the less crowded areas, avoiding big queues of jeeps etc. because of this, we managed to see elephants up close to the jeep, as well as multiple water buffalo’s, birds, deer, monkey. We were also lucky enough to see two leopards - our driver was in contact with other drivers in the same areas, looking for the same leopards - he made it his mission that we got to see one!! 10000% recommend this tour - so glad we did this one over others that I saw.

Great experience on the half day Safari - Our experience with Janaka Safari was great. Our driver Id was very nice, punctual and experienced. We would book him again! The contact was also quick and easy. The easiest way was via the email address on the website or via WhatsApp!
We were able to pay in Rupees or Euros. That was great!
We saw leopards, but also buffaloes, birds, elephants, monitor lizards, monkeys and much more.

Earliest and BEST safari tour! Thank you Ish!!!! - HIGHLY recommend this group over any other! Yes, it’s early, but for a GOOD reason! Our driver, ISH made sure to be the first car in line to enter the park so that we had the highest chances of seeing a leopard. Ish checked in with us at that time and gave us a quick overview of what we would expect to see. The rarest sightings are the leopard, elephants and the sloth bear, and Ish Was working so hard to make sure we saw any of those. We saw ALL THREE!!!! We enjoyed an amazing breakfast afterwards! Seriously, I looked into every half day safari option and this was the BEST! There were other safari groups that we spoke with after that were out there when we were that didn’t get a chance to see anything so when I say this safari group is the best, I meant it! Thank you ISH for an unforgettable experience!!!!

Journée enrichissante - The safari was pretty good, the driver was friendly and professional. As an area for improvement, we would have appreciated it if the driver had avoided the jeeps already present in the park during an event (one pass is enough to appreciate the view and take pictures). One last point, I think we left the park a little too early (10:45-10:50).
