Outstanding views and experience - We had such an amazing experience at the Sea to Sky Gondola. For 4 adults and 2 children, the price worked out to be fantastic value, when we converted it back to UK pounds, we realised just how much of a bargain it really was for what you get. The views are absolutely breathtaking from start to finish. At the top, there are a variety of lovely walking trails with plenty of stopping points to take it all in, you could easily spend hours just soaking up the scenery. Squamish has been our favourite area to visit, so I may be a little biased, but this was definitely my favourite activity of the trip. I would highly recommend not just doing the gondola, but also taking some extra time to explore Squamish properly, even staying a night if you can. On this day we included visiting Egale Run river and Mountain View, Seaichem 16 then going across the road to Hop Creek micro brewery for food and drinks. And as always, it’s important to be respectful and mindful that we are visitors on the land of the Squamish First Nations people who so generously share this beautiful place.

Bucket list worthy - I wanted this trip to be as stress-free as possible so I booked 3 tickets to Sea to Sky Gondola shuttle package a few days before our visit. Each ticket (adult, $111 plus tax) consisted of round-trip shuttle transportation as well as 2-way gondola ride. I chose 9AM arrival (8AM pickup at Hyatt Regency back entrance) and 3PM departure for Tue, 23 Sep. After payment, all 3 QR code tickets were sent to my email. On date of trip, we were picked up by Squamish Connector shuttle at the designated pickup location and arrived at Sea to Sky Gondola Basecamp around 9AM. To make the most of our day, we didn't board the gondola immediately but instead hiked to nearby Shannon Falls and returned after an hour. The gondola ride (up and down) was the absolute highlight of the day. For 10 exciting mins, we took photos and videos, sat back comfortably and enjoyed the awesome panorama which unfolded before our eyes—the blue-green waters of Howe Sound, lush forests, granite cliffs and distant mountains. Having the gondola cabin all to ourselves made the ride extra special. The wait to board was also very short. We spent over 4 hours at the summit area. We crossed the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge a few times trying to capture that postcard perfect photo. We didn't stray too far from the Summit Lodge and only explored 3 out of 6 walking trails—Spirit Trail (beginner, 0.4km, 20 mins), Wonderland Lake Loop (beginner/intermediate, 1.6km, 30-60 mins) and Panorama Trail (beginner, 1.3km, 30-60 mins). The trails are well marked and well maintained, with a few benches along the way. We got our fill of spectacular views thanks to strategically placed lookouts, but the absolutely-not-to-be-missed are Summit Lodge Viewing Deck, Atl’ka7tsem lookout (Spirit Trail) and Chief Overlook Viewing Platform (Panorama Trail). We didn't buy any food at the Summit Lodge. I browsed the restaurant menus beforehand and wasn't impressed with the food offerings—the outrageous prices also didn't help. I read online reviews that said bring your own food so we did just that. We brought sandwiches from Breka, some fruits and granola bars and filled our reusable water bottles at the base camp. We sat down to eat in the shade at the Backyard Plaza picnic tables near the Spirit Trail trailhead. There are washroom facilities at both Basecamp and Summit Lodge. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the mountain so everyone can enjoy clean alpine air. I should probably mention that Sea to Sky Gondola has a cashless policy so debit and credit card only. Overall, Sea to Sky Gondola is bucket list worthy. Quite expensive, true—$76.95 for lift ticket alone—but the 2-way gondola ride, the suspension bridge and the gorgeous views are worth the price. Highly recommend.

It's always fun to ride in a gondola - This was an unexpected treat as we made our way up Highway 99 taking in the sites of Howe Sound and its surrounding mountains. The gondola trip was longer and higher than we thought at first, and gave us great views going up and down. At the top, the suspension bridge (scary for some...well, me) was a pretty nifty feat on engineering. We took in a wonderful sunset and had a nice (if short) hike along one of the snow-covered trails before heading back down.

You won’t regret this experience regardless of weather! - Had a blast spending the entire say here in the pouring rain - even the ticket lady said when we come back down ‘have you guys been up there this whole time’. The weather wasn’t i Ideal but plenty to do if you still want to take the gondola to the top & not walk or explore. Fire in the lodge, gift shop, food and drink and much more. Since we visited from overseas we didn’t want to waste the opportunity so we ventured out in the pouring rain all rugged up and due to conditions had no view of mountains but we knocked over 4 trails. Suspension bridge is incredible, we did 3 easy and 1 intermediate in the rain and had a great time. Break up trail by spending time in the lodge. Rain or shine, still very much worth doing regardless of view. Staff friendly and all enjoying themselves like they wanted to be there. 100% worth the trip from Vancouver. You won’t regret it.

Nice view - The trip up itself was very nice but not impressed with the ticket desk. They couldn't find our groups passes so we were delayed in getting on the gondola. I had made a special request as well, which was forgotten about.
