Couldn't reccomend enough - My partner and I had an amazing experience and couldn't recommend it enough. Our guide was friendly, welcoming and had a great sense of humour and despite being just us 2 on the tour, we never felt awkward or uncomfortable. The food was exactly what we wanted, delicious, traditional and you definitely won't leave hungry. Throughout the tour our guide gave us interesting history, advice for how best to see split, and recommendations for food and activities both in split and in the cities we are going on to next (Mostar and Dbrovnjk). Well worth the money and made our whole trip more enjoyable.

Delicious Food Tour, Indelible Guide! - Josipa is a credit to her company and to Croatia! The food tour was delicious on every level! We went to authentic restaurants where we were warmly greeted. Extremely knowledgeable, humble, and proud of her heritage, Josipa gave a two-for-one experience, integrating history and gastronomy as we walked from place to place. We were with two other lovely couples, and over our meals we discussed politics, listening to each other with an open-mind and lack of judgement that added to the gestalt of an amazing experience. When we recounted our discussion(s) to Josipa, she listened attentively, yet was careful not to impart her perspective, which I understood and respected. Clearly bright, educated, sensitive, and informed, she navigated her role beautifully.

Best Food Tour!!! - When we arrived for our tour, it was just my husband and me, but they still proceeded, which made us very happy! Our guide, Yospia, brought the history of Split to life with her deep knowledge and personal connections, having grown up there herself. Her insights into downtown Split and the historical details of Diocletian’s Palace enriched our experience significantly. The tour perfectly combined delectable local cuisine with fascinating historical narratives. Unlike many food tours that rely heavily on carbs, this one featured a diverse range of substantial, thoughtfully chosen local dishes. Each restaurant was selected with care, and every bite was a delightful discovery. We were impressed by the quality and variety of the food. The stories and historical context Yospia shared made the tour truly exceptional, and we would have missed many important details without her expertise. By the end of the tour, Yospia felt more like a friend than a guide. We also appreciated the additional dining and sightseeing recommendations she provided. Overall, this food and history tour was the highlight of our trip to Split. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Food and the palace - My wife an I enjoyed sampling the wide range of foods, we had more than enough to fill us up. I particularly enjoyed the snippets of history and local culture anecdotes the quide (Ivanna) was able to provide. Recommend this trip if you're interested in history and food.

Warm and welcoming - Fantastic night out around Split. The tour was excellent with Josipa who was very knowledgable and explained lots about the sights and their history. The restaurants we went to were upmarket and the food and wine excellent. We have been on other food tours and this was definitely the best.

Awesome! - Loved the entire 4 hours. Nice mix of eating every 30 minutes interspersed with history. Loved our guide and the waters and fans at the start! Great food. I suggest if you want better than house wine to ask for a menu (if wine is a passion for you) as you will only be offered house wine (at your expense of course).

Humour, food and history! - We really enjoyed our tour of Split. It was perfect for us. It had plenty of history and cultural information about Split as well as delicious food. The black ink risotto was a highlight! Our guide Marina is a real live wire and very humorous as she delivers her extensive knowledge.

Fun, Knowledgeable Guide! Mediocre food! - We went on this food tour based on the Trip Advisor reviews. Tea, our guide was awesome! She was the best part of the tour experience. She made the experience a winner. We enjoyed the historical component and the group we were with were great. We had four food stops, our first was for a charcuterie at Temple Kitchen which was very good, next stop was at Leon's where we had black risotto which I did not care for at all. In addition, the white wine we ordered had not been chilled at all. Next stop was Konoba tavern for a traditional slice of beef with gnocchi, this restaraunt had an interesting vibe, and the food was OK. We finished the tour off with Burek and gelato which were good. Overall, I would say that Tea was awesome, the food was very average in quality and taste and the overall experience was very good. NOTE- We have been in Split for 4 days before and every meal we had eaten previous was better tasting than what we had on this food tour.
