Educational and fun!! - This was an exceptional experience. Our chef Marjin was very knowledgeable and helpful while teaching us. Going to the farmers market and fish market to procure the ingredients for our meal added an interesting layer to the fun. We made a huge feast and had a wonderful meal at the end! Wonderful choice for an interesting experience.

A fun, enjoyable and educational eating experience! - An outstanding experience; one of the highlights of our two-week trip to the region. I can't say enough good things about our Split Cooking Class, as the hosts were friendly and patient, taught us new things about cooking and Croatian food, and guided us as we made a great meal. It was awesome. The only complaint I have is that they gave us an appetizer of cheese and meat to start (maybe it is a Croatian thing) which meant I used some of my stomach on good food instead of having more room for outstanding dishes prepared by the group. I highly recommend this class!

Incredible team building experience! - We took our team to the Split Cooking Class and had an amazing experience. We learned about how to choose fresh fish, how to make a stock, and so many other great lessons. They gave each person the opportunity to participate and had wine and delicious snacks which enhanced the experience. Best of all was eating an incredible meal that we had helped prepare. Petar and his team were amazing!

A trip highlight! - We were on a tour of Croatia with 11 other travel mates and this cooking class was arranged for us by tour group. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! We met two chefs in the lobby of our hotel around 9:15, went shopping at the local fish and vegetable markets for all the fresh ingredients used in the class and proceeded to the school. We were greeted by the master chef and served some appetizers and wine while the process was explained for the class. Everyone was assigned a job and guided through each step and together we prepared many dishes which we all got to enjoy at the ended of the class! A fabulous experience not to be missed if you are visiting Split!!

If you're in Split, take the time to take this cooking class! - I had a great time during this cooking class. We went to the market, made several dishes, and got to try local wines and desserts. I think the value of this cooking class was beyond worth it. I had a great time and Chef Bruna was so kind and patient! If I'm back in Split, I would love to do it again. Thanks for a fun experience!

A Terrific Experience - This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. I learned a lot and we made a lot of food. The risotto was the best I've ever had. The school is very close to the palace so it was easily walkable from where I was staying. I will use a lot of the skills I learned in the future. It is one of the fondest memories I have of Croatia.

Bringing People Together w/Good Food - What an amazing experience! I learned so many things I was doing wrong. I really enjoyed going to the farmer's market & learning about seasonal vegetables we would use in class. We started w/appetizers & wine along w/some explanations. Since we had a fairly large group (17) we were put into several cooking stations. Some were cleaning fish, some were making bread, some chopping & grilling vegetables & some making dessert. At the end we feasted on our creations and it was extremely delicious, fresh and somewhat easy to prepare- especially with so much help. Definitely one way to bring people together & learn about the region you are in!

World class cooking class experience! - A must when in Split! We started with a toast of local grapa, then split the group up between making and baking bread, preparing mussels and local fish, and cutting vegetables for delicious risotto. The result was both educational and incredibly delicious.

Hands-On Local Cuisine Experience! - This was a phenomenal experience. We got to learn about local cuisine and experience hands-on food preparation, including fish preparation, which I've wanted to learn more about. The instructors were friendly, helpful, and engaging and the food was excellent. We highly recommend this experience if you are interested in full immersion into the Dalmatian region.
