Split Cooking Classes are great for all levels and lovers of food and they are designed to give you an authentic taste of Croatian cuisine. Your class will include a vegetable and fish market tour where we will buy our ingredients from the local producers and fishermen (NOTE: classes are also available without the vegetable and fish market tours).
Back in the kitchen, we start the cooking process by tasting local wines and liqueurs and then switching on the tunes while our award-winning chef helps you to prepare the amazing meal. All of our chef instructors have worked in some of the best restaurants in Croatia as well as in Europe so as to give you the most professional cooking experience. You will be learning from some of the best food experts in Croatia!
At the end of your class you will enjoy the meal that you have worked to prepare. Food and wines are included in the price.

What a fun experience. ... - What a fun experience. Chef walked us to the market where we picked out fresh vegetables and fish before heading to the cooking school. Throughout the walk Chef told us about history of the city and personal stories of growing up in Croatia. There were liqueurs and wines with charcuterie to welcome us. The meal we prepared was extensive, with mix of classic dishes, preparing fish three ways. We learned the techniques of cleaning our fish in addition to making the recipes. This was truly a learning experience throughout. Most importantly, the food was so delicious! Chef was such a wonderful teacher and host.

Excellent - Pleasant Learning - Frestive - Yummy! - I have to say: my Split Cooking Class experience turned out to be absolutely brilliant. I’d been on tenterhooks for weeks because it turned out I was the only one who’d signed up for the morning class on 9 September 2026. Nothing is organised for just one person. Ines, head of sales, did her best and, sure enough, at the last minute Galit and Dan signed up too. That morning we met up and were welcomed by Bruna – what an incredibly friendly woman and inspiring expert master chef she is – who enthusiastically and humorously guided us through the finer points of Dalmatian cuisine. Throughout all those lessons, not a single culinary detail was overlooked – a proper cooking class: shopping, preparing, enjoying! Twelve traditional dishes, each a burst of flavour, cooked using various techniques and accompanied by matching wines. Yummy!!
Galit and Dan were very pleasant company; I enjoyed their stories and perspectives – they really added to the festive atmosphere. They told us that on every trip they take around the world, they always take a cookery course somewhere. But this one was exceptional – usually two or at most three dishes, but now twelve… unforgettable. Hats off to them!
I have to say it again: Split Cooking Class is top-class for foodies.

Great time; good food - 6 of us took this cooking class. The teacher/chef was knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic. We enjoyed the time and learned a lot. Each of us could do as much or as little as we wanted. The food we cooked was good and we enjoyed our time. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience with delicious food! - So much fun and fabulous food!
Bruna was a wonderful instructor. From the walk through the vegetable and fish markets to spending time in their cooking school, it was an amazing and delicious few hours!

Take this cooking class!! You won’t regret it!!! - This was an exceptional cooking class. My husband and I try to take a cooking class on most of our trips and this is one of the best we have taken. The food we prepared was delicious, the chefs were informative, fun and very well organized. We all got to participate in the preparation of the meal and we enjoyed getting to meet other people on their travels!! We loved the visit to the market to buy the veggies and fish we would be preparing!! You can’t go wrong taking this class! You’ll be a highlight of your trip to Croatia

Standout experience of our Croatia trip! - Amazing experience and even more than we had hoped for! We got a tour of the fish and green markets and learned so much. We loved getting to do hands on cooking. There was plenty of time for enjoying the food and wine and company as well. The chefs were excellent teachers and very fun. Thank you!!

More than a cooking class - experience Croatian culture - Željko and Petr were awesome! From a leisurely walk around the green market to get our veggies and then the fish market to get our fresh fish, we stopped along the way where they shared all sorts of cultural insights, including their own personal experiences having grown up in the Split area. The cooking instruction was awesome, the food even better. The entire team was interested in more than a cooking class. They are truly passionate about what they do and want to share the Croation culture with visitors. Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful! The... - Absolutely wonderful! The 2 Chefs that we went to the market with were very knowledgeable. The group was very friendly and hands on. The meal we all cooked was divine! Great activity! Highly recommend!
