• Plitvice Lakes National Park - Plitvice is renowned as a natural wonder due to its ever-changing landscape, shaped by the sedimentation of calcium carbonate. This process creates unique algae and moss, as well as tufa or travertine, which have been and continue to be deposited to form the natural dams that separate the lakes. As this process continues today, new travertine barriers, curtains, stalactites, channels, and cascades are formed, while existing ones evolve. Therefore, even if someone has visited the lakes before, they likely appear different now, offering a fresh experience with each visit. In addition to the lakes, there are fascinating caves where remnants of prehistoric settlements have been discovered.

• The tour includes prox. 5km of walking on uneven surfaces -please wear comfortable walking shoes (we visit highlights of both, the Lower Lakes and the Upper Lakes).

• Depending on the weather conditions some parts of the park may be restricted
• Here are few items you may need to make your time on the excursion the best of all: closed comfortable shoes (sneakers), sportswear, In case of rain raincoat or an umbrella. After summer time we recommend to bring also a warm sweater or jacket.
