The tour kicks off in the cellar of the majestic Diocletian’s Palace. Erected in 305 AD as a retirement residence for a Roman emperor, this palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site, forms the core of present-day Split. In the series, Split’s alleyways and the cellar of Diocletian’s palace were modified to portray Meereen, the city subdued by Daenerys where she liberated the slaves. Throughout the tour, we’ll explore the locations where the battles between the Unsullieds and Sons of the Harpy took place, where Daenerys incarcerated her dragons, and numerous other filming spots. The tour concludes with an opportunity for you to sit on a real Throne.
