Ready to get to know Split before embarking on exploring on your own ? We recommend hopping on a HopOn-HopOff-Tour with - For two days, we got to know the city by bus and by foot and our 48h ticket was incredibly worth it ! To get an overview what the city looks like, a brief historical lesson and discover the old heart of the city, the red tour will be your best bet ! For seeing some green and dive into the nature and Game of Thrones sight seeing take the green line ! The Olive Museum was an absolute highlight for us and the shop will let you support local businesses to no end. Lots of taste testing there :) Our driver and guide where awesome, very knowledgeable and incredibly supportive and helpful for questions of all sorts. Of you are in Split, don’t miss this !!!

Yay - We enjoyed the tour with Darko! His expertise in history shown through during the tour. We were able to learn a lot about Split and how the Great Roman Empire played a role in its culture.

At €20 a head it’s not cheap but was worth it - Joined this tour off our cruise ship— lots of people touting for business on the dockside but went with this one, my my first thought was it seemed quite expensive but to be fair it was good value, a guided bus tour of the city’s highlights for 45mins followed by a 45 minute guided walking tour of the palace - was very interesting and covered a lot. It never came up in the TA search which was a shame but glad we did it Would recommend
