Incredible! - Highly recommend! We were picked up directly outside our hotel and transported up to Mt Teidi accompanied by our guide Julien who was knowledgeable and humorous. He gave clear instructions in terms of timings and expectations which was appreciated. We had several stops along the way to take photos and enjoy the landscape and scenery (including at a local cafe in the mountains where we enjoyed a baraquito coffee - also highly recommended). We took a bag with warmer clothes but we didn't need them: there was a refreshing breeze at the top but still shorts weather (it was around 35C at base on the day of our visit though and we were told at other times of the year it can get very cold). The cable car ride was stress free (a bit of a squeeze but not uncomfortable) and such a memorable experience to take in our surroundings. The views were breathtaking and the whole place was just incredible. Top tips: if visiting in summer a hat, suncream and water are a must. Thank you Julien!

To remember - Our experience taking the Sunset and Stars excursion has been very positive from minute zero. Orisbel picked us up at the assigned stop next to the hotel, very attentive and attentive to the group at all times. Upon arrival at the cable car base he introduced us to Sandra, our guide, and the rest of the team. All the time super attentive and ensuring the well-being of all participants in the excursion. Sandra knew how to liven up the journey on foot and make us see the small details of the route. Natasha was amazing with us. Lorenzo was super friendly and caring and made the return cable car ride even better than the ride up. The very complete and delicious dinner/picnic after the first part of the excursion to recharge your batteries for the constellation and telescope activity explained wonderfully by Oris. This team makes your trip and excursion worthwhile, it is clear that they like their work and know how to transmit their passion to all tourists. Thank you all very much for making us live an experience to remember! Pedro, María, Joaquín and Laura wish you the best for your careers and future. A big hug. PS: María wants to add: Everything has been great. Thank you all. In particular, a very strong kiss to Natasha for your help and understanding and to Lorenzo for your conversation and advice, I will listen to you.

Excellent highly recommend - We chose to go early morning (9.10 am) so we could explore the island further afterwards. One advantage to this is being able to park right at the top of a very steep road, one disadvantage is mist in the morning so you don't get the views as good. Ours unfortunately weren't great. You need to take a jackets, sweatshirt or something warm as it is quite chilly at the top. We only lasted 15 mins as we didn't have anything with us. Make sure you also have water with you especially if you go early as the cafe doesn't open until after 9 am. The cable car was great highly recommend it. The cafe & shop is also very nice.

The wonderful Teide, the disappointing Tour - If you really want to enjoy Teide I recommend not taking this excursion. The Guide only explains the journey on the bus, and it does so in 3 languages, so when you want to see what you are talking about we already pass by. When you reach the cable car and climb, the Guide is not with you, but there is an app that explains something to you at certain key points along the way. But if you have no idea about geology (like me) you don't understand what it's talking about or which way you have to look. For the better when we were on the bus arriving at the cable car the Guide told us that if we felt bad we would let them know. Of course, at the foot of the cable car I felt perfectly. But when I climbed the Ramblet and started walking there I did feel bad, but the Guide does not go up the cable car, so at the time I felt worse I had no way of communicating with it. So I had to manage them as I could. Also the excursion does not stop at the interpretation center of Teide Park, so we missed a lot of information. What to say about the times we were given to do the activities: when you go up by cable car you can be up to an hour and then you must go down. If you do any of the paths it will surely take you longer as you must walk slowly, but the time that gives you the excursion barely gives to go up and down. It does not allow you to visit the souvenir shop or watch a recreational video about the volcano. Personally the excursion was a great disappointment for me. If you want advice, rent a car and take the tour in your time and you want to enjoy it much more.

Not great! - Started off with half an hour late pick up - no apology! Then spent another 45 mins picking up people along Costa Adeje. Told cable car not working. Had several stops - first one a bit pointless at a cafe then last one at a shop. Guide very animated but unfortunately blasted out terrible Spanish music for last half an hour. I would find another way to visit Teide if I was you!!!
