Joburg in a day - Clement was a wealth of information. He took us to a great African buffet for lunch in Soweto. We felt safe and couldn’t fault anything. Pick up was on time and we really enjoyed the African street dancing whilst having lunch. The apartheid museum was huge and a real eye opener to the political history of South Africa.. Constitution Hill was also full of emotional history and everything Nelson Mandela..

Full-day guided tour of Soweto, Johannesburg, and the Apartheid Museum - Our full-day guided tour of Soweto, Johannesburg, and the Apartheid Museum with Philippians 4 Four Tour Company was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, we were immersed in a deeply enriching experience that brought South Africa’s vibrant history to life, all thanks to the exceptional service and knowledge of our guides. Clements, our tour guide, was impressive. His in-depth knowledge of Soweto, Johannesburg, and the Apartheid Museum added layers of context and understanding to each site we visited. His storytelling brought to light the resilience, courage, and hope of the South African people, leaving us with a profound appreciation for the country’s journey. The tour itself was well-paced and thoughtfully designed. We explored the iconic streets of Soweto, including the famous Vilakazi Street, where both Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu once lived. We visited the Hector Pieterson Memorial, a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made during the struggle against apartheid. The Apartheid Museum was another highlight, offering a deeply moving and comprehensive look at the history of apartheid and its enduring legacy. Our family really enjoyed this tour! Thank you for making our trip to Johannesburg amazing. We will always remember this experience.

Amazing Day! - We spent an entire day with Nahti, he was very knowledgeable and did a great job taking us all around the city. He picked us up on time at our hotel and gave great commentary of the city as we drove. Constitution Hill and Soweto and the Apartheid Museum were amazing, the photo stops were perfect as well and he gave us info about each of them….lunch was delicious, a previous commenter said that it was expensive. It was less than $20/person which is maybe not what locals would pay, but we felt like we had good value as it was a buffet and you could choose what you wanted. We did the tour with our three kids 14, 13 and 10. They were all engaged throughout even during the museum visits. We were so happy to have someone who knew the city to take us around, we would 💯 recommend. It was nice to have all of our museum visits included in the price, it made everything really easy and streamlined. 10/10

Knowledgeable and fantastic guide - We were picked up at our guest house by Nathi - our guide and driver. While driving to pick up other guests we had a very enjoyable conversation about South Africa and the sites as this was our first morning in South Africa. Highlights were a visit to the prison where Mandela was held and then South Africa. Constitutional Court. We had a very interesting local guide for the prison and court. Then we drove to Soweto and had buffet lunch in a local cafe then toured Nelson Mandela’s house, sites of the 1976 Soweto uprising and Regina Mundi church with an other excellent guide, Danny. Nathi was professional through the long day, answered questions openly and was an absolute delight. Thank you Nathi.

Marvellous educational tour that humbled me. - Everything was amazing. The World class Apartheid Museum was a sobering & tragic reminder of South Africa’s time of shame & human right abuse. The way it was show cased was beyond words. Thank goodness for Mandela & his forgiveness. Truly incredible

Great tour, but rip off Sakhumzi Restaurant - Constitution Hill tour 10/10 Apartheid Museum 10/10 Soweto Township is a brilliant addition to any tour in Jo’Burg, with the added bonus of visiting Nelson Mandela’s house. That house visit was a wonderful experience - but for your guide to take you to Sakhumzi Restaurant, to be ripped off is shocking. R800 for two buffet meals - one alcoholic drink and a Diet Coke, is nothing short of a rip off. I hope you take note of my review as you know full well, the locals would not be paying that price. We paid less at exclusive steak houses in both Jo’Burg and at the V&A in Cape Town. The tour itself is amazing, but don’t let yourselves down, by taking your guests to places, that will rip them off. It doesn’t make any sense.
